I used these sticks by just holding them in my urine stream and making sure they didn't get wet past the dip "max" line. Very first test was positive, and the 2nd, and the 3rd. After infertility I was so skeptical I opened a 4th test and ran that one under straight water from the faucet, that one was negative. These are way more cost effective than the clear blue, first response, and even dollar store pregnancy tests if youre taking thwm frequently, and just as accurate if not more. I was not even 5 weeks pregnant, and still a few days before my missed period and I got 3 tests with DARK, OBVIOUS POSITIVES. My only regret is not buying them sooner and wasting SO much money before! Everyone tells me that of course I got pregnant after buying 30 pregnancy tests, but after struggling with infertility while trying to concieve it just made more sense to buy them in bulk instead of feeling guilty every time I dropped cash on tests thinking "this is the time".

I have used the LH and HCG strips many many times over the last year and they have always been accurate and easy to read. This last batch I bought I kept thinking I saw a second line (but well after the allowed time to read it) and I think it was an evaporation line (or my imagination thinking there was an ever so faint line) but in the past with other boxes I’ve ordered there was never ever a Hong of a line or evap line at all unless I was truly pregnant. So for the most part these are easy to read and no false positives (or evap lines like I’ve read on some other products) and when I have been pregnant they showed very faint positive lines fairly early (10-12 days past ovulation) so very sensitive as well.

Let me start by saying congratulations on your journey of trying to conceive. If you're like me, you've probably already reached a point where you have spent more than a $1000 on either travel and/or tests and medical expenses. Don't be afraid to buy the "off-brand". I had never heard of PregMate before I started my TTC journey. I've been using the ovulation tests for a while now. They're super easy to use. They're less expensive because they don't have all the bells and whistles and fancy packaging that the other brands do. They use the exact same technology to detect your hormone levels as the other brands. They're just as accurate. When you've been TTC for a while, fancy packaging isn't necessary. I just want results. And that what these give you. If you're considering buying these for the first time, but are skeptical, just go ahead and make the purchase. It's worth it.

These tests are advertised as an early result type of test, you can take it as much as 5 days before your missed period.First I want to say that I did indeed get my first positive with these tests at 10 DPO. I chart my cycles with the fertility awareness method so I’m confident in my dates. But I also tested with a ClearBlue test the same day which has the same threshold of 25 and the ClearBlue test was much more obvious. I had my HCG tested at 11 DPO and it was 13.9. Obviously these test have good sensitivity if I could get positives with low HCG.The test in the picture is today at 18 DPO, and this is where I take issue with these tests. Yesterday, at 17 DPO my HCG tested at 85. That’s more than 3 times higher than the threshold of these tests and the test line is still far lighter than the control line.This matters to me because I’m pregnant again after a miscarriage 3 months ago and the line progression is really important to me. The faintness of the lines has caused me a lot of anxiety but my HCG is so much higher than the threshold of these tests.I did also get a bad evap line on one of the first tests I used out of this package in my non-pregnant cycle. I want to be able to be confident in my results, so I won’t be using these again.Bottom line: they do work but I believe the accuracy is questionable. I would not consider them high quality.
