SolarEnz DC 8mm Female Adapter Adapter Cable Solar Connector Converter Perfect Compatible for 100W Portable Solar Panel

I'm going to echo what at least one other reviewer has said regarding a few cons in weighing pros and cons.The female 8mm connector is too deep -- the plastic collar creates a deep well that other standard 8mm male plugs cannot fully reach. (particularly the center pin). I tried it "as-is" and it would not make a connection. I thought I was just screwed, until I read another review here that suggested trimming back/away the plastic collar on the female connector. Which I did with an X-Acto knife and now the connection works fine. Also, the extra-thick gauge wire seems like overkill for this product, and makes it a bit more difficult to manipulate/store than it needs to be.Other than that, I'm a happy camper, to have found what is for some reason a very hard-to-find adaptor cable! Everyone makes a 5.5mm female adapter cable, but no one makes a 8mm female adaptor cable.

I bought this cable because I wanted to run/charge the battery in my portable ACOPOWER LION Solar Freezer/cooler when I am at a remote location with no power connections. And since I already had Jackery products, I paired the cable to the one of my Jackery SolarSaga 100W Solar Panel and when I plugged everything up to test the battery started charging right away. The fridge already has a built-in charger controller and everything appeared to be sound, the screen displays 10.6v and the battery indicator displayed the battery in charge phase. When I tested the connector with the solar panel, I was getting 17.2v. Time will tell but right now so far so good, and very happy with purchase.

I have a 300w Massimo battery box that uses a proprietary 6.5mm input jack (good luck finding one for sale). However, it came with the solar connector to 6.5mm cable, all I need is a transitional cable that accepts the 8mm plug from Jackery 100w solar panel to the solar connectors. This cable is what I need. it is well constructed

The female connector will not accept the male connector. Even tried to give more pressure to connect, no way. Not happy. Also the female and male connectors are not crimped to the MC4 connectors.I will return and buy again to see if this is a one off problem.

Exactly what we needed to connect a solar generator to a couple of solar panels we had purchased afew years ago. Works Great!
