The book came in a timely fashion, but I wasn't in a huge hurry to receive it. Overall, I'd recommend this series. I'd say the story has themes of mystery, action, comedy, and a splash of "magic" that isn't too in your face. The characters are named after real life authors (don't expect them to look the same) and their abilities and stories take from the real author's lives and literary works. It's a great series that somewhat makes you want to go and read the works of the authors that the characters are named after. It's a great day when a series inspires you to go out and read and learn more. Although a bit slow in the beginning, this series is both an absolute joy and anticipating action-thriller. The plot can be occasionally predictable, like in many of the side mysteries, but what really makes this series amazing is the characters. There's only a few characters I dislike, and even then I don't mind them at all. The main character, Nakajima Atsushi, is emotionally relatable and an amazing hero to see grow and develop. Another character, Osamu Dazai, becomes a BRILLIANT character later on, especially in the Guild Arc. The first couple of volumes (first season of the anime) don't entirely focus on one specific plot, so the story is slow and aimless at times. But it immediately makes up for it within later volumes; tons of new abilities, characters, conflicts and stories are introduced to really bring a dark action plot together. The first volumes have their strengths and benefits though, of course, such as the comedy and mystery, but the later volumes show more promise. So, if you're not really feeling Bungou Stray Dogs at first, I urge you to make it past the first major arc. But regardless, I adore this series and I can't wait to buy the later volumes!

Love this series!

PLEASE PUT THE SERIES ON KU
I love the anime sooo much so I wanted to try the manga and it’s soooo good. PLEASE I beg the to put this whole series on Kindle Unlimited 😩 I want to read it all but I can’t afford to keep buying them outright and my libraries don’t have them 😤 so good though, highly recommend. I also love the color images in the beginning.

Like if you bought in store
Comes undamaged, its the same as if you bought it at your local bookstore really! Great story. the art is high quality and the first 3 pages are colored which is a nice little edition. Great if you'd rather read than watch, or don't want to purchase a subscription to a streaming service that'll carry this! I highly reccommend.

El libro es prácticamente igual que el anime, maravilloso. Lo único que el mio venia con un piquito de la portada un poco roto, pero le puse desafil y listo ^^ PD: En la contraportada sale el libro del suicio de Dazai <3
