does the powder disolve in water?

No it's virtually insoluble. The chemical formula printed on the bottle is WRONG!! It is NOT one citrate per magnesium but 2 citrate per 3 magnesium. There is a workaround: buy a bottle of food grade citric acid. Add 30 gram of this product + 15 gram of citric acid into a bottle and add 0.5 liter (about 1/2 quart) hot water and stirr or shake. Most of the solids will disolve and form the 1 : 1 magnesium citrate; same solution that is/was in the magnesium citrate laxatives with some excess citric acid.

Label says: globally sourced ingredients. Read the one star reviews for more information. (Note: Magnesium is mined in China, North Korea, Russia, Austria, Greece and the USA. ) I doubt this is the USA.

Yes, it’s the most absorbable form. We use it everyday and it does stop muscle cramps.
