This polish is pretty great if you know how to use it. With any textured polish there's going to be a little extra technique required, but it's not difficult to figure out. I put this polish on as soon as I got it. Two coats with no base or top coat. This polish, I kid you not, stayed perfectly on my nails for a week and a half without chipping. And I play a bunch of instruments and do a bunch of crafts and always have my hands in water, so they went through a lot. I was thoroughly impressed with this polish. It's not matte, but because of the texture, it's not glossy either. I'd call it more of a satin finish that's leaning closer to matte. It's a good quality polish and I'm very happy with my purchase. Very worth it.

Has a very good pronounced sandpapery texture. I wish it was matte! The shine is a bit odd, on it. Also after about a day, the texture begins to get worn down, flattening the look. It held up for about four days though, and I am not a fancy lady- I sculpt, sand, drill, and use tools all day, or paint and draw.
