The Gale Jacket is part of the two layer soft shell line and is fashioned as a mid/outer layer in the APX™ system. It's great as an outer layer when its chilly outside with low precipitation conditions or as a mid-layer under the L5 Cyclone Jacket or L5 Whiteout Parka acting as the outer layer in extreme conditions. This quiet, abrasion resistant fabric with micro-fleece lining provides extreme comfort and extreme protection from wind exposure. Bonded zippers and pockets provide less stress where stitching could degrade the structure of the fabric.
