2021 Apple MacBook Pro (14-inch, Apple M1 Pro chip with 8‑core CPU and 14‑core GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) - Space Grey

I bought this MacBook Pro to replace my 2015 MacBook Pro (13 inch). Right from the off, the performance is superb, there is no lag at all. Just for context I use performance intensive applications like Final Cut Pro and it has not lagged at all. I also spend a lot of time watch YouTube and that too loads quickly without much issue. The battery life is good, I only really need to charge the Mac once or twice a day, and it usually lasts. If you’re not doing video editing or other intensive tasks like this, the battery should last much longer.The sound quality is much superior to my 2015 model and it has a higher sound limit, I was able to hear the MacBook (that was in an upstairs bedroom) whilst I was in my living room (which is downstairs). The 14 inch MacBook Pro is slightly heavier than my 2015 13 inch MacBook Prob but it’s still quite portable. Touch ID works a charm and I’ve never had an issue with it. The additional lightning ports has been welcomed (one of the reasons why I went with this Mac instead of 2020) but I had to get an adapter to be able to use my standard USB devices. Overall I’m really happy that I’ve upgraded and it’s been worth the money in terms of the efficiency gains that I’ve gotten.

I've been using Surface products for the last 7 or so years (pro, laptop, book) and I could appreciate a quality drop over the years with my latest pro 8 being the reason I switched to a Mac.The MacBook Pro is a really well built laptop but that was expected at that price point. The base model is probably more than enough for most users and compared to other premium laptops I think this one is the best value for money. I use it for work and some light video editing and it is far better than I expected.Battery life is incredible, it can probably last the whole work day using it in anger and whilst plugged in it will keep the charge to 75-80% (as someone that uses LIPO batteries for RC vehicles, I can't stress how good that is to ensure batteries stay healthy for longer)Keyboard is great, better than previous MacBook models and the trackpad is one of the best I've ever used.

Overall this is close to the perfect laptop. Typing on it is a joy, it feels like the keyboard is mounted on granite, there is no bounce at all. The screen is the best I have used, and super fluid with the variable refresh rate. Performance is all you need with the M1 Pro CPU.The only downside is that the battery life seems similar to my other laptops, I was expecting amazing longevity. It will last all day but doesn't seem to be quite as amazing as the marketing would have you believe.

Expensive bit of kit, but very impressed with performance and battery life so far. Because these laptops have been out for 9 months or so, there are now some decent discounts to be had. They're better value than a similarly specced up M2 MBA, and also have a bigger, better display and more ports.

Having this much power in such a small and lightweight package is just incredible. Battery lasts ages and it’s a powerful little workhorse! I can code on the go with ease and do pretty much anything else I like without worrying about it burning my legs etc. I don’t play games on it but I use it for everything else. Wonderful tech!

I’ve owned this Mac notebook for a couple months now, and here are my key takeaways:Battery: Lasts for as long as you need it too. No issues with battery dying quickly. Charges relatively fast.Performance: I run advanced programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc. As well as browsing the web on regular basis. I haven’t ever had an issue with the speed, and have never heard the fans ONCE!Screen: Goes super bright, very responsive with upgraded refresh rate, and crystal clear quality.Would 100% recommend, 10/10 product.

This is my 5th apple computer and my 3rd MacBook Pro last Mac book was from 2013 and only needed to upgrade now for my work. This computer is by far the best ive had and its unreal how fast and responsive it is, not slowing down even if I open every program and app at once it jus loads them fast and keeps going.If you are in to video editing, photography and photo editing, digital artist etc this will be a work horse for you no problem.

Hefty price , I bought it as a gift for a friend that is obsessed with the brand , I don’t understand what all the haba haba is all about tbh
