Awsome
I was pretty hesitant getting this because of no reviews and being a recently new released product and this is coming from a 27 year old and 178 lbs who did skateboard for about 9 years so I pretty much had the balance down to go the full for me it goes 14.5 mph on flat smooth surface and I rode up about a 35 degree hill it slows down a bit which i was expecting to about 13 mph which was not bad at all during a 2 mile trip to visit family and the wireless remote shows the battery life of the board and the remote itself and if the connection between the two on the LCD screen pretty cool I will give a update asap its been raining now so I won't chance messing it up will wait for a dry day happy ridingUpdate 12/29/16So I rode for about 6 miles during the ride my remote lost connection to the long board 3 separate times for about 5 seconds each time and the wheels would use the break on me so it kinda startled me so I'm a bit worried about that in the future and both remote and longboard battery was fully chargedUpdate batterey died after 7 miles

A Fantastic Powered Board for this Price Point!
After taking a chance and purchasing the Voyager, I wanted to address some of the negative reviews/concerns that made me hold my breath for a bit. After a few weeks and at least 50 miles on the thing, I can say this is a phenomenal device at this price point! Like anything else, you have to learn how to use it and apply its characteristics accordingly. I read somewhere someone was concerned about how "sudden" and "jerky" the braking is. Well, would you pedal your bicycle as fast as you could then suddenly grab the front brake only? Of course not. Just letting off the throttle does a good job of it. It is a powered device, you have to anticipate your trajectory accordingly. Don't blast down a straight and suddenly find yourself needing to brake hard and take a 90 degree turn, of course that's going to be unpleasant. ...and if you do have to hit the brakes at slower speeds, anticipate and position your body accordingly. Once you acquire the feel for how it brakes, it shouldn't surprise you.The other concern I read about was the link between the remote and board constantly timing out. It really isn't much of an issue. I just quickly hit either the + or - buttons to engage it again, then utilize the throttle. If anything it's a battery saver and I don't think impedes riding at all. Would it be nice to have the option for no timeout? Sure, but I don't really see it as a deal-breaker by any means. The cruise control is also a nice option, again, anticipate where you are going and take into account the remote timeout and all will be well.Keep in mind, these are "boosted" skateboards, they are NOT going to magically make it easier for you to learn how to skate. That is not its purpose. If you don't know how to skate, know thyself. Some people can learn on a board like this, others probably shouldn't, either way, wear protective gear.FYI, I'm about 270lbs. At my weight, it really won't go up but the slightest of inclines (keep in mind the price point, if you want something to rocket you up steep hills at around this weight, you'll have to spend a lot more than this), so I need to stick to fairly level riding surfaces. Paved walking trails are great, and so are parking lots, sport courts, etc.. I'm not sure how many miles I'm getting out of it, but it has to be somewhere around 5-7, again, your mileage will vary, I've very heavy so I'm ok with getting that kind of mileage; again, keep in mind the price point. Also, as you learn to ride it better and better, your mileage can go up when, for example: you push off and get it going somewhat quick THEN apply power. Or, you anticipate slow downs and hit the throttle a bit more. Be mindful of the topography and keep it in motion as opposed to a lot of stopping and starting, and it will go farther. All in all, a great device, I'm glad I didn't let the negative reviews get to me on this one!

Awesome Board! Smooth Ride!!!
Just got my Swagboard Voyager today. Took it out for a spin near my neighborhood basketball court.Super fun board. Very smooth ride and the dual hub motors are super quiet. It went pretty fast at only 10 mph. I was too scared to go the full 15 mph. Still trying to get use to the board and the speed. Breaking is a little sketchy and sensitive. According to the manual, you have to lightly decelerate using the trigger. The remote control has additional buttons to accelerate/decelerate. Much easier to use than the trigger. Board is kinda BIG and heavy. I think it's because of the battery underneath. It is sporting 90 mm wheels which for smoothing out bumps. Check out my attached video for a closer look at the board :)Will be posting an updated review after a few more rides.UPDATE 01/08/2017:Went back out on the court again to ride the Swagboard Voyager. I got a little bit more comfortable with it and got use to using the brakes. The trick with the breaks is that you gotta slow down/decelerate first before you hit them. If you hit them tooo fast, you will fly off. Check out my new video of me riding :)UPDATE 01/11/2017Ok. After a few days of riding and testing out the board commuting to work. Here are some cons that I don't like about the board:1. The remote control will turn off in standby/sleep mode after 15 seconds of no use. This is kinda scary especially if you are going downhill and trying to brake with the board. The remote won't turn back on if you use the main control switch. You actually have to hit the plus/minus buttons and then use the brakes. I have no idea why the main switch won't turn the controller on. That sucks and that is why I changed my review rating down to 3 stars. This can be very dangerous for newbies / beginners to longboarding.2. Hill climbing is so so with this board. I think it can go up a 15 degree hill slant max. If you go higher, the board will start to slow down and then the motors will turn off. Kinda scary especially if the hill is steep. You will start rolling backwards and then you gotta step off to stop yourself. Those are the 2 major things that makes this board not perfect. I would recommend this board for people who live in a flat areas. It gets a lot of speed and it really is a smooth ride. If you live in area with lots of hills, I would not recommend this board because the uphill torque is not strong and the downhill braking can be finicky/sketchy.UPDATE 08/16/2017I still have my SwagBoard Voyager. I use it a lot to go to work from the parking lot. I have gotten use to the braking and am able to ride it with remote staying on (as long as you accelerate/brake with the + and - buttons).Really good board for the price.

Doesn't reach the speed advertised - weak/slow on hills - Totally dead for no discernable reason in under 20 miles - broken toy
Product didn't go 15 mph as advertised. Topped out at a bit over 12 mph. Low power for climbing hills and causes the unit to slow dramatically. This is effectively an underpowered toy, not a commuter or even a semi-powerful deck. Controller is very limited. The control scheme is poor. The "power level" settings just don't work. The "cruise control" comes on too quickly, as do the brakes. The auto shutoff of the hand controller is so fast, it sleeps at every red light, needing me to activate it before use dozens of times per short journey. If all this wasn't bad enough, the unit totally failed in under 20 miles with no visible damage, impacts, or wetness.
