Inexpensive game and very sturdy not cheaply made
Great self contained compact game. Great value for the money. Preschool though entire family enjoy.

Fits in a small can, good for travel
This game was cute, but my grandkids weren’t as crazy about this game as they were about the pirate one from the same company. I love the small can where everything goes, makes it easy to take along.

fun, portable but kids found it hard to open
This is a great little game that works well for travelling or for keeping in smaller spaces. My 5 and 7 year olds enjoyed playing and it was easy enough to follow and the game is pretty short usually so we found it suitable for passing time while waiting in a restaurant.* the good *- attractive and cute packaging- fun for different age groups- simple rules- packaging didn't open or break during travel- compact- inexpensive* the not so good *- the rules are printed on paper rather than on metal package. It would be difficult to follow or understand the rules if it is damaged or lost- the kids needed help to open the lid with the gems inside- gems can be easily lost (although I guess they can be replaced by similar items from a craft store or a dollar store)* the bottom line *The packaging looks exciting, although younger kids couldn't open it independently. Nevertheless, this is a fun and reasonably priced travel game and I would recommend it for making waiting time fun.I hope you find this review helpful.

Cute but Broken
This toy is not worth $10. Five at the most. So I bought these in September to use as stocking stuffers this Christmas. I only checked one and it popped fine. I checked the other one and it doesn't pop. The piece of plastic for the popping mechanism isn't securely in place and there's no way for me to fix it. The window for a return has already passed. Ugh!You can get a way better game for $10

Cute- but not a car toy
I got this hoping it might be a good car toy- Inalways loved popping dice and thought my kiddo might too. The other themes may work for a car trip but this alien matching one doesn’t. Which is fine- it wasn’t advertized that way so no harm. The alien one is a matching game where you race to find the alien that matches the combination of colors and patterns the die show. It’s great for memory, pattern and symbol recognition, and whatever motor skill is pushing on a bubble to make the die pop. It does take a little oomph to get the bubble to pop, and once popped sometimes the dice inside don’t move as much. the pop top attaches to a small tin that holds the cards- it makes it look like a ufo and keeps it handy. This is a good game to travel with- just not to play while in the car. It’s easy to get the run off- though there is a trick to it and it won’t come off unintentionally (which is exactly what you want). All in all it’s a cute game. It says 5 and up- but I think with enough supervision a 3 year old could enjoy it. I think 9 would probably be the limit though.

Fun game/impossible to open
Has anyone figured out a trick for easy opening? We always take several minutes to be able to open it and it takes away from the fun

Simple, Quick & Fun Game!
My 5-yr old son & 4-yr old Nephew played several games yesterday, we kept it super simple by not using the stealing from other players or putting all the gems back. Instead we used the Skull as not getting any gems and saying that 'Those Pesky Pirates got our treasure!', the Red arrows we used as don't take a gem but roll again, they took turns back and forth instead of going till you want to stop so we could keep it fair. Both of these children are not used to sharing so it would be a fight to play by the original rules alone, this is why I modified for them to avoid fights, we'll work our way up to the other ways. I'm sure the original rules would go over great for any children who are used to sharing all the time.Overall this is a great game, takes little effort to set up, easy to travel with. I feel like the gems could easily be replaced if lost as the shapes & colors are pretty common. I would purchase this as a gift.
