Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 6 Quarts, Gray

The Segretto 6 qt Dutch oven is a great value (I paid $72). The enameling is high quality, beautiful and seems durable (though I've only had the item for 3 weeks). The handles are nicely sized - easy for a man's hand or to handle with mitts (unlike Lodge handles). It is easy to clean with a perfect-fitting lid - just enough space to let some steam out whilst retaining heat. The lid also has those little basting stalactites whereas the Lodge and Amazon Basics lids do not. The item is made in China and that is not easy to find out without reading reviews. That said, it is good quality. My one small complaint is heat distribution - there should be a bit more cast iron in the bottom. Of course that adds weight and at 14 pounds, this pot is plenty heavy. I do have to chuckle when folks buy cast iron cookware and then complain about the weight of it :)

This fits in my air fryer and makes wonderful bread. I use a half recipe but you could maybe use 2/3

I wanted a small dutch oven and this one is a good size it can hold a pound of meat and with a lot of room left over. Like if you were going to make meat for Tacos this little guy will work

I have larger Dutch ovens (7 quart and 5 quart), but this little pan works perfectly for cooking for two adults every day. It heats up fast and I am able to use less pots and pans to create dinner. The dishwasher at the house thanks me for the easy clean up! Highly recommend.

Seems well made, and I've used it three or four times now. LOVE the color. Cooks evenly as far as I can tell so far, and no issues with clean up. I would recommend hitting the rim with some oil after use as it is not enameled, but if you care for it that shouldn't be an issue. The one thing I wish is that the base was more flat, not so rounded. Would just make some dishes a little easier. Otherwise, good value for the price.

This is a beautiful red dish to serve a meal in. I have made a brisket it and it turned out wonderful. It's pretty on the table and also cleaned up easily. I know I will use it for many years. I had a problem with an enamel chip on the pot. The company worked with me in a quick and friendly way that was impressive. I sincerely thank them for their help, and when I need another baking dish, I will choose this company again. I write very few reviews but this one is earned and deserved.

I purchased this for baking sourdough breads. It’s hard to find 2 quart cast iron pots with lids. This is 1.7 - and it works. Handles 425 degree oven nicely. Mine is red - beautiful!

This should have been a great pan! I heated the pan on low, added garlic, deglazed the pan… and poof! The enamel came off just like others have experienced.
