I used this cheesecloth to make cheese and it worked perfectly. The only advice I can give is to spray or soak and then strain the cheesecloth with regular white vinegar. This will help prevent the cheesecloth from sticking to the cheese when you finally remove it. I do recommend and I will order again.

These cheese cloths are the perfect size for my small batch tallow making effort. Small enough to not overpower my strainer but just right if I even double them up. They are also easy to wash and dry.

I bought these to filter Beef Tallow made from brisket, fajita, and steak trimmings. They worked great by setting one folded over in a big hand strainer and ladeling the rendered fat through the cheesecloth to filter out the sediments. It worked perfect and I got 5 pints of filtered Tallow for cooking vacuum sealed in Mason jars!! It was of great value for the money and have 4 left for future use!

Less hassle with precut sheets

Make yogurt, butters and cheeses weekly. These are FANTASTIC! I have tried a lot of different types and not been happy with many. These are GREAT Quality. I will absolutely be purchasing a LOT more! Great Quality, great stitching, large capacity, tie well, twist well, wash easily (always hand wash, never put this stuff in the washer with ANYTHING , too many chemicals residue in your washer and dryer!) and hang dry.
