Fin Fun Atlantis Mermaid Tail for Swimming with Reinforced Tips and Monofin - Adult & Teen Sizes

I've only worn it three times, but each instance has been a lot of fun!The thing to keep in mind is that you DO want to practice with the monofin (the solid fluke portion that goes on your feet) and make sure you're comfortable swimming in that before adding the fish-skin (the fabric part that goes over the fluke and your legs and actually makes you look like a mermaid). The technique takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have the swimming down, you can frolic in the waves as much as you want! The printed colors are very nice and bright, I like that the tips of the tail fins are reinforced to prevent the monofin from ripping through. Felt true to size (I have broad hips and had to get their largest size, but it went on just fine). Good product for the price...there are more elaborate mermaid fin sets out there that go for hundreds of dollars, but this is only about $110 for both the fin and the skin, more than reasonable.I'm only just getting into mermaid swimming, this was a solid set for my first mermaid getup (and hopefully not my last!)Final note: Amazon's selection from this brand is a bit limited in the size/colors, if you go to the actual FinFun website, they have a lot more color options!

The monofin is definitely different but my stepdaughter loves it cause it looks more realistic! I had issues with the delivery for my package and it didn't make it on time for her bday but the seller was so fast to respond and send another one and I'm so grateful! Very durable and my 14 yr daughter loves it.

Im going to upload a review of this on youtube, but for the price, I'd say its good (considering it came with a monofin.) The scale patterns are intricate and very pretty. Theres also a deep purple glitter on the whole thing that sparkles in the light and doesn't come off in the water. the bottom fin tips have some strange plastic coating on them that makes them more stiff and a little discoloured, but its for sturdieness and helps keep the monofin in. Instead of a zipper, there's a few small pieces of velcro at the bottom of the fluke that have the tendency to pop open with little effort. The shape of the fin keeps the monofin in more than the velcro itself. This being said, its beautiful and I love it. I wish the fluke was a little bigger, but with the way its made with the monofin, I don't think it could be.

This fin fit her perfectly. She wouldn’t take it off for 2 days. She is going to have a blast with it this summer. Will update this review as it gets in the water.

I bought this for my 12 year old. The quality is great, I love the reinforced edges to help keep it from fraying. This does take a long time to dry, but my daughter was over the moon. We waited to get her one till she was comfortable in the water and a decent swimmer. She figured out how to swim with it pretty quickly. I would not recommend this if you aren’t already comfortable swimming.

This is more vibrant in person, which gives a more realistic mermaid- tail look. I am in love with the colors and the monofin is so cool.

I love this tail! The color gorgeous and I love the extra fins on the back and sides. I have worn it in the pool, it took a little getting used to but once I got the hang of it, it was so much fun! And of course everyone was jealous! The only thing is that you need to remember that it is delicate and fabric so if you want to sit on the edge of the pool or on any surface that can catch or pole just put down a towel and keep it nice. I found The tail to be true to size. I’m not posting a picture because I’m a Fat10 who doesn’t photograph well LOL
