I am switching out my Phillips SonicCare for this one! A fraction of the price - even the replacement heads are a fraction of the price! The SonicCare wasn’t even getting my teeth clean - this new Voom worked 10x better even on the first use! It is MUCH quieter too! Before work I was in a rush and used it for the first time, used the White setting. Even in that brief first session I saw and felt a difference! I drink coffee every day and my teeth seemed white to me…but even after that first brief brushing I noticed it had taken stains off! That night I took my time and used the White setting all over for a while, and followed with the Polish setting - my teeth looked and felt like I just came from a cleaning at the dentist! This brush is also very sleek and lightweight, so it’s easy to handle and to pack for travel. I am very pleased so far.

This worked fine through on full charge. Once the battery ran down I set it to charge and then it began to go down hill. After a week or two it would finish its timed cycle early then stop for 10-15 seconds before kicking back sometimes only coming back on after a forceful tap. Then after a few days of that it’s vibration totally wore down, without indicating a low battery. I charged it anyway hoping that would solve it. Nope later that day I brushed again only to have no power at all. Super disappointing as my wife has one that has worked well for her but it did seem cheaply made when I got it so I can’t say that I’m terribly surprised. Save yourself the money and buy something else.

I've been using the sonicare e-series for years and really liked the strong vibrations and reliability. I have the old style e-series with the larger handle and brushes that use magnets. Works great and lasts. Per the reviews it seems the newer sonicare devices do not last thus why I tried this product. Additionally, the older sonicare did not support international voltages so I couldn't take overseas. Purchased this unit primarily because I can charge and use overseas.What I do not like...- The Voom Sonic Pro 5 vibrations pale compare to my older sonicare e-series. Perhaps the newer e-series are weak as well?Features+ Promises long battery life. Will let you know what I find+ Narrow and light so easy to pack for travel+ Uses a std USB wall charger to charge the toothbrush (not provided). This is really good for international travel as phone chargers support the 110-240v+ Includes a small / lightweight inductive USB charging base.+ Has (5) modes...not sure if that matters to me but it might to you.+ Has a 2 min timer which pause for a moment (every 30s) to remind you to brush a different zone.Summary: Small, lightweight, and the charger can be used overseas. Wish it had more power but it is still better than a manual tooth brush.I've had the toothbrush for a month or more now and the battery lasts a long time. can go weeks without recharging.
