This book is awesome. The descriptions add interesting information and the drawings are great. Excellent coloring for period dress fans.

Absolutely love this book!! Am a new colorist so am having to learn as I go but even still, these are turning out beautifully! Hope to buy better grade pencils soon and hope that will help make them even better. The detail in the drawings is wonderful. Also enjoying reading the explanations of the styles. Just wonderful!!!

The dresses are very pretty, however I did expect more detail in the faces .

I love the artwork, and the intricacy of some of the gowns!! I know that some have complained about the 'smallness' of some of the gown trims and patterns, but I consider these features to be nothing short of a challenge!! I can't wait to start working on some of these plates!!

I purchased this coloring book for my mother as a gift. Great fashion scenes, perfect poses! The quality of the paper is wonderful, too. It's thick enough where you can't see the drawings coming through from the opposite page. My mom loves it and I've already purchased another book by this author/artist!

So fun to color historical clothing

I use this as guide for fashion in my Victorian and Edwardian era art. I've never been good with fashion or fashion terminology, but this book is simple and easy to understand and provides great descriptions and explanations below each picture. Great fun to color, too. :)

This is a great color book for grownups or older kids. It now only shows you fashions from this era, but on the bottom talks about the clothes and often even what historical figure is wearing them. Lots of fun to color. I like it enough I may order it again a a year or two.

Très jolies dessins de costumes à colorier, j'aime beaucoup cette époque donc je n'ai pas hésité à l’acheter les yeux fermer et dans regret car il a été plaisant à le colorier et j'ai même acheté d'autre dans le même genre qui sont tous aussi beau. Ceux qui aime la belle époque vous ne serez pas déçu.

Great little book by Tom Tierney. The pictures a just great but the bonus is the history written about the fashion of that era. The paper has a slight sheen to it and a picture on each page. I was concerned that colour would go through, but this hasn't happened. I use F.C Polychromos, Inketense and Cretacolour on these with no problems. Not sure how paints will go. Its a think book, but one to enjoy with colour and add to the bookshelf. Good buy. thank you
