It’s truly a neat design and fits well. There is a little tightness in the toe box but I expect same to go after break in period. The sole is quite soft and supple.Update: Feb 2025It’s still a little tight along the instep so I have to wear very thin socks. It’s extremely comfortable and doesn’t cause fatigue. The laces are getting tattered, will replace them in a few months.

I regularly remove and wash the inserts from my shoes. As a shoe lover, I've owned a lot of brands like Rockport, Clarks, Saucony, and Nike, and I've never had a problem like this before. When I attempted to wash the inserts, they were stuck to the shoes with a very strong glue that made it nearly impossible to remove them. Despite being careful, both inserts tore during the washing process, as shown in the picture.I don't understand why such a strong adhesive was necessary, as no brands use it and still excel in quality and function. Additionally, I noticed scribbled numbers under the inserts, even though I bought the shoes brand new.I think people choose Cole Haan for a reason and are willing to pay a premium for quality. However, it seems the company does not conduct proper quality control and might have used excessive glue to cover up the scribbled markings on the inserts. Either way, I am very disappointed and do not recommend Cole Haan or their products.

I work on my feet quite a bit but also want a business casual look at work. These work great for that.
