Farm DogNaturals - Salvation Skin Care & Crusty Nose Balm for Dogs, 1 Ounce

I have a very spoiled 9 year old English Bulldog who has had a dry cracked nose her entire life. Over the years I have tried a number of product on the sandpaper nose, yet never saw a noteworthy improvement. So when looking if there was anything new to try and read "Heals Crusty Cracked Dog Nose In Less Than A Week!", I decided to give it a try and sadly multiple weeks came and went without healing her cracked nose. I think she just may be an exception since nothing ever seems to help her nose, but wanted to write the review in the event someone else is in the same situation. I do not think it is the miracle product it appeared to be when I made the decision to buy it, however I will continue to use it since it is all natural and the vet recommend continue use for a natural product that would not hurt her if ingested.

It works well but the smell is so strong that the one dog who REALLY needed it for an allergic reaction crusted nose wouldn't let me anywhere near her nose/face because she could smell it as soon as the lid came off so she knew I was coming. My other dog let me massage it into her rough cracked paw pads tho & it was great for that. I personally prefer the Farm Dog Naturals Restore in general, but they're both great products.

Love it and only a small amount takes care of my Boston Terrier dog's snout :) Also, she does not freak out when I put it on because it must feel good on her dry nose. The only problem is that now my other dogs wait impatiently to get their perfectly healthy (no dry patches) snouts "doctored" too lolIf you are in doubt just give it a try as the smell appears to be pleasant and the taste , as my dogs like to lick it if it can be reached on their snouts. Even my "picky" dog loves it because in the past she has rubbed nose and face on the floor and she has used her paws to rub it off while sneezing repeatedly. This dog is very sensitive as in taste buds and smell. My Boston Terrier has very sensitive skin and at times even the hypoallergenic shampoos and dry skin products can give her a rash and long periods of scratching and sneezing! This product does not have any of the scratching, sneezing, skin sensitivity, nasty smell or taste "side effects" that other "natural" or "sensitive" products that I have used in attempt to get my dogs dry and irritated snout condition(s) under control... I have used approximately six to ten other products (all of which are being sold on Amazon) and each and every one resulted in the previous stated side effects or just did not solve the problem as claimed in their advertisement.I have not been given any discount or free product for a positive review- this product review is based strictly on my own successful experiences that I have seen with my pets.

I have been using this salve for a bare patch on the back of our little (senior) dog.The doctors say her skin thickened there, due to an (alleged) allergic reactionshe must have had some time in the past, from fleas or whatever.We only know her for the past two years since we found her homeless on the road.She has short hair, and must have had minimal care during her past life.I apply this product every other day, and it definitely helps in terms of softening and moistening the patch of damaged skin.She has been growing very small, subtle, fine hairs on the bare patch, although the hair regrowth is not all over the entire area at this point.I have been using Salvation for a few months now, on her, and am very happy with it.

This is a necessity for your dog!!! We have a boxer who gets a crusty ridge on his nose. It has been an issue for years. I tried quite a few ointments, and found this amazing salve while browsing Amazon. Figured it's worth a shot, and I'm blown away at the nearly immediate results!!! His nose was gnarly 4 days ago. Today it looks like a normal dog nose. I keep making my husband look at his nose to see how amazing it looks. lol

My dog has terrible allergies. Me and my family put this on her every night in her bald patches (she has a ton of them). This product may actually be helping her skin be soothed enough to grow back some hair. After using it for a few weeks I noticed that she has some hair regrowth. Regrowth is rare for her.While my dog does not enjoy getting her Farm Dog Naturals Salivation applied to her it has benefited her skin.

I was so shocked to receive such a tiny jar of this balm stuff for the money paid! I used all of this jar on my Chi-Wienie without any positive results. The contents in the jar didn't even last a week!

So far so good and impressed. It has been 4 days and our dachshunds ears are looking better and healing. He has dry areas on the ends of his ear flaps. We have used many different things and it works temporarily. The dry scab has fallen off and hopefully we will have a healed ear soon. I will update in a couple of weeks. A little of this goes a long way. The smell is nice and Ike doesn't seem to mind it a bit.

Helps but strong smelling. Dogs hates it but seems to help

Good for my dogs nose but last time it was $16. Why is it $86???? Rip Off!!!!
