Q: How long do the batteries last before you have to replace them? I plan to have them on in the evenings before bed.

Our experience shows that with the timer function you will probably get about 2 to 3 weeks on a set of regular alkaline batteries. We have not tried them on the Lithium batteries but I would suspect you could expect double the time with them but the cost of them may not make it worth the price.

Hello Thank you very much for your question, if you just want to decorate the shelves, I suggest you can buy 4 pack 20ft fairy lights, you should buy more set to decoration if you can.

Q: I bought these and it worked great and i had them embedded in resin and after a few times it stopped working. How do i troubleshoot ?

I doubt that the resin had any effect on these lights. I would look at the battery box itself. If you have had batteries leak in the battery box this will ruin the tiny circuit board. We sell these and other similar lights in our store and 90% of customer complaints comes from battery leakage. You should also look at the wire leads to make sure the clear insulating material has not come off where it enters the box. We have had this happen as well.
