BonaProfessional Mega Wood Floor Finish Extra Matte 1 Gallon

I bought this because when workmen moved my stove they scratched my new wood floor. I sanded the floor where the scratches were and then lightly sanded the rest of the area. I applied two coats and it turned out beautifully. I couldn't be happier with the result

I can’t say how impressed I was with this product. It goes on super smooth, dries within 1 hour and has an amazing matte finish. I used it on old barn wood and it really made the color pop and didn’t cheapen the look since it gave it a finished and matte look. I put 4 coats on all within the same day. So impressed!I used to work with big box store urethane and found it too thick, it dried tacky and took 1-2 days to dry. This product is WAY better.While it’s expensive, it’s worth it given the amount of time you save.

This is the first time I use this kind of product so cannot compare. It's more expensive than those from local hardware stores. However, it was easy to apply for a first time DIYer. Make sure to use gloves (not rubber, it melted)

I'm a contractor and my floor guy turned me on to this stuff. I've used it on a couple of small floor touch-ups, but I recently used it on some kitchen cabinets. I applied it with an applicator pad -- the kind used for painting. It goes on smoothly, evens out quickly so it doesn't leave streaks and dries really fast. It says it's oxygen activated, so it is ready for a second coat in just 3-4 hours. That means I can get a 2-coat pad-applied finish in just one day that looks as good as a spray job without the nuisance of setting up a spray booth. It's now my go-to finish.UPDATE: I've switched to those terrycloth covered stain applicator pads to apply this stuff for cab work. Works even better!
