Excellent at keeping my cat box smells to a minimum, and at absorbing less than fresh smells in the fridge.

These are thicker than the usual filters but work excellently. No odors, no gnats. It fits inside the entire cover of my counter top recycling pail.

Great filters! I just wish they weren't individually packaged in plastic!

I really liked the idea of these and I still do. They do tend to stay fresher, and the prescribed time in the sun sweetens them up nice-- all that stuff is true.But the dang things don't stay up in the crock lid-- a standard crock lid, mind you! I've tried taping them into place, which almost works but really just isn't good enough. So I'll have to get all ingenious about it and find/rig something that works... I'll let you know if anything turns up. I don't see a reason to give up on them at this early stage. So this probably should be a two-star review, but I can't say I don't like them, really. Not yet.

These filters fit my compost bin perfectly and they do a great job controlling any odor from the bin. I am still on my first filter. I have not had to change or recharge them yet so I can't comment on that aspect but I would expect they will work as advertised.

I'm sure they will work fine in compost bin, but the papers/packaging that came with the products said they were for refrigerators and said nothing about compost bins...

The reason I gave it three stars is because I can't noticeably tell any difference between having this and not. Although, it could be helping out with the smell somewhat, but its hard to tell because it isn't significant.

I wish they would fit the diameter of the lid. As soon as I can use it I will give it a real review.
