Q: Does anyone know the size of the disposal that would be fitting for this sink? Also, the size of the drain plug I would need to get?

Our sinks’ drain outlets are standard 3 ½” diameter. Any standard disposal and drain will work.

Q: Is 36 inches the exact width??

Hello, The outside length is 36" (914mm) and should be compatible with cabinets designed for this dimension sink. However, it is recommended that your countertop fabricators use the exact sink you will be installing as the template to ensure 100% perfect fit, as is true for all fireclay sinks. Q: What size base cabinet does the sink need?

Obviously a 33" would be ideal, as it's true to size, but that is a custom size cab, so I used a 36" base, centered it, and spaced it with 3" each side cabinet fillers. I also wanted a "drip tray" along the bottom, which was basically a piece of wood base that came out further than the cabinet face (butcher block would work too) My sister has a farmhouse sink and it constantly throws water all over the front of anyone doing dishes as the water is always splashing over the front etc.. and running down into the base cabinet and I hated it. She swore she'd never do a farmhouse again, I love the look of them, so I did it anyway, and have to say I love it! I don't know if it's the design of this Contempo one or what, but I never get wet. It sticks out 2" past countertops as that is what the counter people suggested- maybe because it's more square than the traditional one? It's been great I've had it a few months now.

Q: Can this be reversed?
