I love the design of this piece however it is made from cheap material also when assembling be careful with putting in the nails they can go through the wood meaning they should’ve made the wood thicker to avoid the nails going through ruining the shelf. So my advice if you don’t really have anyone to put it together or you do it yourself make sure you do it right. It can easily be ruined Just make sure it’s someone that will carefully put it together. I had to have my maintenance guy do it luckily he has worked in construction and has experience with certain materials. Just be careful I would say the price should be $120-$140max. I say this because once again the wood is very cheap. Also it’s not very sturdy. I say this because I was worried due to me having a two year old luckily the maintenance man nailed it to the wall even still I grab it and can shake it. It just seems not a sturdy. The guy who I know put it together was very professional and the way he put it together it came out fantastic and I watched him carefully put it together. I could tell he knew what he was doing. So pros are lovely design it is excellent on how it looks and I picked the yellow so it’s great. The space on the shelf’s is also pretty awesome. The price should be I think a little lower and the cons are it’s not as sturdy, I can tell it’s cheap( the wood is definitely cheap and even with the gloss look effect) also when it’s drilled to the wall to help it be stay in place without falling it’s still not sturdy it can shake or move and it feels weird. Other then that I’m not upset I brought it. I like the look and can use it for awhile. Lastly if you want to lay the shelf down you can use it for a different style. Thank me later. 🙂

When I decided to buy this shelf, it had one, five star, two word review. It was the best priced of all comparable Amazon Prime eligible pieces, though, so after a little thought I decided to go for it. Boy, was I surprised.This piece arrived on time. It was very well and carefully packed, wrapped tightly in a waterproof plastic cover over the cardboard packaging with ample Styrofoam padding on all sides, additional cardboard corner supports, and plywood guard pieces on all four edges (length and width) to ensure that it arrived undamaged.The instructions were clear, precise pictographs, and 1 extra each for the dowels and main screws was included. It took me half an hour to build this shelf, alone, and I'm no DIY expert.NOTES OF CAUTION:Use a rubber mallet and an electric drill - you're an adult, you don't have time for the annoyance (and unending physical pain!) involved in installing 40 screws/dowels by hand (especially into the solid bits). The main body has pre-drilled holes for dowels and screws; the vertical back support, wall brackets, and feet do not, so line things up well - you get to do this once. Build it on a carpet, if you can, to avoid bashing the particle board into smithereens. This is a solid piece, but that means it's heavy. If you're carrying it up stairs, use the buddy system - your back will thank you. Happy building!

This shelf looks ok but it is poorly designed from a construction perspective....MANY screws to put in, many of which do NOT have pre-drilled holes, and even the ones that do have pre-drilled holes require a lot of effort. You will NEED a drill/power-screw-driver to put this together unless you have super strong arms and a lot of time. Further, the screws are designed to be counter-sunk if you want to use the "stickers" to cover them but the surface isn't designed for counter-sinking the screws....so expect even more effort/work if you want the screws to be semi-obscured.Worst of all, the packaging is also poorly designed. Mine was delivered nearly destroyed. I'm sure the seller/manufacture would blame UPS for that....but poor packaging design deserves most of the blame, especially since I've had many packages delivered by UPS and none has been this damaged. The back piece was cracked in half due to the design of the packaging. I used white duct tape to put it back together, but very frustrating. Even the Styrofoam packaging was broken down and when I opened it, tiny bits of static cling styrofoam went all over the place requiring a while to vacuum them up.The only reason this gets 2 stars instead of one is that aside from the broken back+duct tape and the visible screws, this shelf does look pretty nice.The manufacturer needs to redesign it to make it easier to put together and needs to work on their packaging.

Lets start with the packaging of the product was amazing, even though a good portion of the box was damaged and i thought for sure the shelf was destoryed it turned out perfectly safe thanks to the way the product was packaged. The way the boxed the shelf made it super easy to assemble because it was laid out for you piece by piece and they even thoughtfully included 1-2 extra screw and bolts of everything you need even the legs. The shelf as long as you put it together properly is beyond stable and make sure you use the wall mount to make it even more stable. Make sure you use a power tool because holy moly there was over 80 screws. Overall i am very happy with the shelf it turned out perfectly specially for the low price i got it for. My only complaint is that they labled the part numbers with like a ink printer instead of normal sticker label and its not removeable and you can see it on the front of the shelf once fully built but its very discrete and small so youd have to be paying close attention to notice but since i put it together its easily spotted.
