Slightly cheaper than a proper router (such as the TP-Link this is trying to emulate), and when it work it is just as good. However, when using it as a range extender (one as a router the others are range extenders as advised) it will regually drop off, with the range extenders losing their pairing with the router and have to be set up again with the convoluted and hard to understand set up procedure. I wish I had not bought these and had just paid the small amount more to get a proper set.

Purchased this unit because my sister-in-law was getting buffering on her TV. For some reason, her internet connection was upstairs in the loft and the wireless was struggling to provide a fast, stable wireless signal through two floors in her house. The setup process was really simple, connect the main device to the Virgin box using the ethernet cable provided, download the app and power it on and follow the instructions. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK 5 MINS FROM START TO FINISH. The signal was so much better than the original Virgin box, so now the TV doesn't buffer anymore and the 250Mbps connection she has is available throughout the house. The biggest challenge was moving everything over to the new SSID. Great product definitely recommend it to my friends.

I bought a 3 pack of these ,they are useless honestly 20feet from the router and they just keep dropping off the network and flashing !!! forget trying to use upstairs or even out to the garden ! Avoid by something better that actully works correctly !

Constantly loosing connection, switched to deco from this and problem solved, its cheap and bad. Lesson learned

In summary: The concept of this mesh system is great on paper... But in practice, it is a real pain to get working... There's constant drop outs during the day between multiple devices where the devices connects and disconnects from the internet... It is frustrating when you're relying on stable connection for work. Do not buy, no matter how cheap it goes on sale. The tenda nova system it replaced worked better than this, at 1/3 of the price. Pros: Looks minimal, setup was simple, app is intuitive (but can be buggy), great speed (when it connects) Cons: UNSTABLE connections throughout the day, constant need to restart, unreliable, regret buying it.

Provengo da un altro sistema mesh identico ma di marca meno nota (Tenda) usato per 3 anni senza avere il minimo problema. Attratto dal prezzo allettante e dalla compatibilità con il WiFi 6 ho deciso di fare l'upgrade. Testato per oltre una settimana devo ahimè segnalare la totale inaffidabilità del prodotto. I 2 nodi "satellite", nonostante abbia provato anche ad avvicinarli a quello principale (rispetto a dove erano collocati in origine) perdono spesso ed inspiegabilmente la connessione nonostante il segnale sia 2/3 tacchette su 3, facendo scollegare tutti i dispositivi a loro connessi (ho sia impianto di videosorveglianza che di domotica quindi per me l'affidabilità è fondamentale). Ho provato anche a disattivare l'ottimizzazione AI e smanettare con altre impostazioni ma il problema rimane. Un vero peccato.

Lo compre porque necesitaba poder distribuir la señal por toda la casa. Son dos plantas mas buhardilla . Tengo configurado en la planta baja el maestro y otro satélite, ambos conectados por cable y en la planta 1 el otro satelite como extensor wifi. Tengo cobertura en toda la casa, hasta en la buhardilla t y sin apenas perdida de calidad en la señal. Con la aplicación móvil la configuración no es complicada. La señal es estable, puedes configurar una Red wifi de invitados. Es bastante fácil de manejar dentro de la configuración avanzada Es un producto recomendable si quieres tener cobertura en toda la casa.

Simple to use but with limited range

Ho acquistato questo sistema mesh per ottimizzare la rete di casa. Avendo installato vari dispositivi "smart" avevo bisogno di un sistema che potesse gestire fino ad almeno 40 dispositivi, passando da un piano all'altro con lo stesso ssid. Ho acquistato senza leggere troppo manuali ecc e solo a sistema acceso mi sono accorto che i canali wifi 2,4 e 5 erano unici, il modem decideva con cosa collegarsi. Questo è risultato un primo problema in quanto la maggior parte dei dispositivi smart funzionano a 2,4 GHz. Ovviato al problema disabilitando un'impostazione. Ma purtroppo anche se momentaneamente questa cosa ha funzionato a lungo andare il problema si ripresentava, addirittura facendo cadere la connessione a tutti i dispositivi smart e quindi impedendomi di accendere e spegnere le luci, aprire tapparelle ecc.. capite quindi che la cosa non può essere sostenibile. Ho quindi reso il sistema ed acquistato qualcosa di più costoso ma stabile.
