I have been buying these beans on subscribe and save for my husband as this product allows him to drink coffee with no adverse effects associated with the caffeine. The good point is that the company uses a natural decaffeination process. However the coffee has very little flavour and I’d describe it as weak and insipid. We have a coffee machine that takes whole beans and grinds them. We have these beans in the machine all the time now and I definitely don’t enjoy coffee anywhere near as much as I used to. I used to drink about 3 cups of good strong caffeinated coffee per day. These beans produce a weak flavourless drink that vaguely resembles coffee. Also it is very expensive considering how much you need to use to get a drink that resembles coffee. I have to make my americano up with several shots from my machine and it still tastes weak and bleurgh.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but I feel I must, in response to the supremely negative Deimantas K.Coffee tastes appear to be changing, specifically away from burnt toast/caramel & towards something that occasionally seems to resemble an almost “sour” note. This coffee, from a relatively small company (compared to Illy, Lavazza etc who still offer a more traditional roast, in my opinion) reflects that change. As this is also my own taste preference, I find it very drinkable & have bought many, many bags over the past year. Horses for courses?

Once you try this, then nothing else hits the spot.Excellent stuff!

I find decaf coffee can taste quite bland, but I was really impressed with this one. It's complex (almost as much as caffeinated coffee) & the fact it's Swiss water decaffeinated means no nasty chemicals. I've bought it a couple more times since, very pleased.
