Oatmeal Soap Base - 100% Natural - 2 lb - EarthWise Aromatics

At first I was a bit hesitant to order due to a couple of reviews stating that the customers hadn’t received the full 2 lbs of soap base. However, I have ordered other products (teas, essential oils, etc.) from EarthWise and have always received top shelf quality at a fair price, so I thought the reviews might be suspect. Sure enough, I noticed that the one-star review from a customer claiming to have only received 1lb. of soap base included a photo with their review. The photo shows the product sitting on a digital kitchen scale, and the readout clearly shows a weight of 1 lb. 15.6 oz., just barely shy of 2 pounds. I assume the customer made a mistake or simply doesn’t know how to read a scale. There is also another two-star review that claims to have only received 1.15 lbs. My guess is they made the same mistake when reading their scale. When I received my product, it weighed in at 2 lbs. 3 oz. These customers should really update their reviews as they are misleading.Bottom line: product as advertised, great quality, great seller.

This product is awful! Do not buy. And it was not even the whole two pounds I weighed it on my scale.

I’m usually not the type to write negative reviews, led along write reviews period but I had to for this one … It’s a great base but it’s not exactly two pounds and it does not melt well. When I washed with one of my sample bars it’s great on the skin and retains scent but that melting and cutting is not it, however doesn’t have any extra additives so maybe that’s why but, if you want to use the soap as is buy it, if not don’t.It’s an okay soap though.

Reviews were right. I didn't get a full 2lb. Seems like some people are lucking and get more than 2lbs in ther package and then there are us, the unlucky ones...I got only 1.4 lb out of it.The soap does feel nice, but I will need to order more for what I needed
