pretty good
I bought a cheapo collection of wet/dry grits and used them to sand the headlights on my cars. The 3000g one of those was kinda janky so I got one of these. These are nice, it put the final touch on the plastic headlight lens’ after which I wiped with iso alcohol and sprayed some Mequires headlight coating on. I also bought a 5000g one of these and it did not seem to make any difference whatsoever. However, I then used it to polish a well worn plastic magnifier lens from a head mount and it cleaned it up very nicely and naturally left discernible micro-lines that mildly blurred the view - so I coated that with Mesquires too and it’s improved but not a real solution. So far I’ve only used about 1 square inch of either of the sheets.

Little overpriced compared to supply store
Auto Detailer here, purchased for quick restock. However, I checked around and there are cheaper options in a bundle. The Home Depot has a 10pack of 3000 grit for $8.98 which I will try next time. May not be the exact, but should be good for what I need it for, headlight restoration and scratch removal.

Nice to Have
I bought this sandpaper to strop my knifes since it has a 3000 grit. A friend of mine recommended it to me, so I have been using it for months now. I would say it does a good job. It's a nice addition.

These make great strops
A lot of people may think they don't because of the give, but I hand sharpen my own knives with a convex edge, and these make a great strop. Either one will take a knife and even out the bevel, give it a nice smooth appearance, cover up most irregularities from hand sharpening, and basically give a great base to strop higher for a mirror polish, or leave it as it is for kitchen or bushcraft knives that like to have a little more "bite" to their edge.I am going to buy more, and find a waterproof way to mount them on a base so I can properly use their whole surface. These are Silicon Carbide, so they cut most every kind of steel, though it is best to keep them wet when using, and they polish things up to a perfect degree for their grit rating. I couldn't be happier and the price makes these things amazing. I have stropped 7 knives all at least twice, and I just have a little bit of marking on the sheet. Note: if you bend, move, or generally use these things as sandpaper, they will load up . I blame the opening of the sponge material beneath one rounding opening up spaces between the Trizact particles, but it is just a guess. If you plan on using these as strops, ALWAYS use them flat and rinse them. Otherwise, these are great for convex edges, and light on flat grinds. I took my Cold Steel Barong machete from 300-grit to paper-cutting sharp just on these two pieces.they hugged the convex bevel like it was sexy and polished it up nicely in one of the most impressive and time-saving uses I have found for them yet. I recommend for whatever use you have for these things, they are truly awesome

I buy this product to clean up older pocket knives. Does an excellent job on cleaning up blades and other metal parts on the knives. Can use it with oil to lubricant the cleaning also

Top !
Permet un ponçage à l'eau léger et sans trop appuyé sur la carrosserie. J'ai pris le 5000 aussi qui est tout aussi bien pour finir avant le polissage.

A light and easily portable substitute for a knife stropping block.
Made by 3M and 3000 grit it feels very smooth to the fingers. However, I have stropped a number of knives on this and find it a decent substitute for a good leather strop. The thin foam backing emulates the softness and finger action of the fleshy side of a strop block. When researching this material I discovered that the grit breaks down and continually provides fresh cutting surfaces to the metal, unlike sandpaper which loses its texture over time. I simply place it on a flat surface: - table, tree stump or even the trunk of my car and strop as usual. So far I am happy with this material as a knife strop and have yet to wear out the 2 pieces that I originally purchased.
