Great beginner board
Got it 3 weeks ago, surfed it twice and so far so good. I’m a beginner so I don’t know much. The only other board I’ve surfed is a 9’ Odysea and there’s a noticeable difference in terms of balance. This Wavestorm has a lot less volume and width which makes it more difficult to stand on but will in turn make you a better surfer once you get the hang of it. At first I wished I had the Odysea back but started working harder to stand and balance and now I’m glad I got this board. To my limited knowledge the construction of the board seems good. I’ve bailed hard a few times and got hit in the face with it and it left no marks where a hard board would’ve left a gash for sure. All in all if you’re willing to put the work in then this is a good board that won’t break the bank or your face.

Wave catcher
Love this board had an old one that I caught every wave on and was in great shape but had a ding on it and just wanted a new one had a bunch of fiberglass ones and cost too much to constantly repair and maintain this is great because I don’t go out as much and it’s light wieght and last a long time easy to maneuver and the color is great

Great for beginners
Last time I surfed on one like that, I was 10. Started to rub on the inside of my thighs after jumping up on it throughout the day. My friend jammed it into his car so it's pretty durable, certainly wouldn't have done that with my short board. 5 ft size wave is the max you want to use it for. Great board to loan to somebody.
