Drawing on my passion of baton twirling (decades ago!) where I held various solo feature positions in band front, I have a renewed inspiration for twirling. This now as a means of healing incorporated into my exercise regimen, after a near fatal auto accident 5 yrs ago, providing increased balance, strength & eye / hand coordination.The added “flute” indents on the barrel, in combination with the non-roll ends & precision balance, make for a perfect baton. So, I purchased a 2nd matching baton, and am now twirling beautifully once again!This model - SS28 - performs far better than 2 other Star & MVG batons I recently had been using that were either slippy or somewhat unbalanced.

Daughter outgrew her last one and was ready to step up. Thinner shaft, lighter baton, extremely well made. Nice balance.

I received the batons today and thank y'all! I am 72 years young and I'm going to use 1, if not 2 in our Memorial Day parade in DePere WI (also known as Green Bay). I tried last year to join in the parade, but bought a cheaper baton that wasn't balanced. I can tell yours are perfectly balanced! Again 5 Stars to y'all
