Fantastic Cherry Desert Stout
Does what it says on the can.If you don't like stout, sweet beers, fruit / cherry or even alcohol, then this is not the beer for you. Otherwise it's a corker and easily the best cherry stout I've tried from any brewer. Thick and syrupy with a full on cherry taste as a desert beer should have. Non of that namby pamby subtly here!

Dark, rich, syrupy, fruity... But definitely not to everybody's taste
Bought in November 2022 for just under £5 per can: completely honest and independent review. If you love rich, fruity dessert beers then this may well float your boat. It really didn't do it for me but then I was more keen on its credentials as a stout than its potential as a chocolatey, kirschy novelty. As a stout it really wasn't very satisfying and I'm afcraid to say that the chocolate and cherry flavours really didn't do it for me either. It has a very cloying flavour which is really reminiscent of the Greek sour cherry liqueur vissino, whilst also having very strong notes of prunes and figs. In other words: earthy but very, very sweet. The chocolate notes were completely overpowered by the sickly-sweet cherry flavour. This is definitely a beer to be served with some sort of hearty accompaniment to cut through the richness and sweetness, rather than on its own (even serving it with crisps and nuts is unlikely to be enough). If you're looking for something quirky as an alternative to port to serve with a cheese platter then this might be for you, particularly given that it's 11% ABV. However, if you're looking for a tasty stout or porter to nurse whilst you sit in front of the fire with a good book, this is unlikely to be what you're looking for.

Intense, majestic
Winter is the season of imperial stouts. This one is truely regal. Thick, very little gas, sweet and tasting of molasses and cherry this isn't a beer for the many.

Absolutely awful, I love stout but could not drink this
Awful drink, I love stout but could not drink this, it was like trying to drink watered down fizzy syrup..
