Q: How thick can the bottom mattress be ?

The mattress that we bought for the bunk bed was the standard bunk bed mattress which I wouldn't suggest because the wood makes it extremely to have to lift with one hand while making both the top and bottom. But we bought identical bunk bed mattresses which we will more then likely swap out next month. But they're about 9 to 12 inches thick.

Q: What is the measurement from the floor to the bottom of the upper bunk ?

Approximately 56.5 inches from floor to bottom of upper bunk bed.

Q: Will this hold for two college kids? Rooming in a one bedroom apartment and we need space. We're both around 210 lb Guys.

I wouldn't recommend it maybe for kids about 100lbs

Q: Total height from ground upto top bunk?

Hello, there is 57" of space from the floor to the top bunk platform, while the entire bunk bed is 72" tall. Thanks!
