Worked great with a 102 slt celestron telescope just needed to buy some new screws to affix it to the camera and installing the new screws was a tad difficult but it fit and looks great and now my telescope doesn’t esnt droop with a dslr on the back of it.

There are countless options in buying a Vixen style dovetail bar. This one comes with a variety of machined holes and slots to accept 6mm or 1/4x20 Allen head bolts. That gives you total versatility. I think this is the best 9 inch long dovetail bar on the market.

I wanted to be able to move my ETX 125 Optical tube (127 mm F15 Mak) to a manual mount when it suited my goals. Purchased this Vixen style dovetail bar because if its length, insuring I can balance the tube, and numerous slots making it adaptable to almost anything. There are two screw holes on the bottom of the ETX 125 that fit perfectly on the dovetail. It works like a charm! Very happy.Note that it comes with two hex head screws. One is longer than the other.

Replacing the dinky little dovetail on a Celestron Nexstar 4SE, and not everything lined up. Also, the countersunk bores didn't match up. I'm sure it would work with anything else, but for what I needed, it didn't

Very well made and affordable price

Using this as a mounting plate for my Celestron AVX Mount. Holds my Canon 100-400 and ZWO guidescope quite well. Haven’t taken it into the field yet but from the setup in the house this looks great.

My Sharpstar 61 has a 4” dovetail. Way too short to get a good balance.I used this Astromania dove tail to mount to the bottom of the existing dove tail and it worked perfectly!

Todo bien, es de buena calidad y muy útil para balancear el telescopio o colocar una cámara o telescopio guía. Yo tuve que hacerle las ranuras para los tornillos en los rieles laterales y así poder montarlo directamente en mi telescopio.
