Awesome for my Mama with Alzheimer's!
My sweet Mama has Alzheimer's and Aphasia (she can't "use her words"). She is OBSESSED with picking at things. Lint, the tiniest dot of something on her clothes OR someone else's! :) Touching her eyes, having to touch everyone's jewelry. She kisses rings and watches. Most of that isn't necessarily a bad thing but it is something she just has to do! I bought this for her, so she'd have something to touch and fuss with. It's been GREAT! She wears it every day! She still picks at lint, etc. but I think the fidget sleeve often fulfills that urge that she has.

Texture galore!
I have a dear aunt in a memory care unit. She LOVES textures. This sleeve keeps her very busy. I appreciate the ingenuity of making it a sleeve and very hard to lose or walk away.

Sturdy and helps fidgety elders
It is very sturdy and has items to keep my mom busy but she wasn't thrilled wearing it on her arm dementia. Other products have detachable items. Very bad for dementia patients. This has everything attached. Good job!

Potential danger
With this exception, everything about this product is well made. Because the buckle can easily be removed, it can be frustrating to reattach for people with dementia, it could be lost making this a missing feature or it could be swallowed. Before sharing this with my beloved senior, I am deciding if I try to secure it on my own or return it.Has anyone else had experience with this feature?

Not heavy enough
Is pretty cheaply made and tried with my dad who has Alzheimer’s and it’s too flimsy for him to do anything with. They need something more sturdy to be able to pull on the things, etc. I wouldn’t recommend.

Dud
My mom has dementia, my mom picks at her skin. I really thought this would be the thing... but nope, not at all. She limed it for about 10 minutes and then she said it was for a child and that was that. It is also seriously oversized, like large enough to go comfortably on the bicep rather than forearm, but it doesnt matter. For my mom, it's a dud.

Helps occupy dementia patient
My mom had Lewy Body Dementia. We found this product in the last stages but she did like to play with it. It did help occupy her for short periods of time. I wish we had found it sooner.
