Microsoft cons the customer-buyer beware
All previous iterations of the Surface Pro have had a tiny slot on the computer back for a micro SD card, this was a great feature allowing for inexpensive extra storage space. For their most expensive Pro yet, they have removed this. So, be very careful to select your computer with adequate storage space as none can be added later. This nickel & diming by Microsoft plus their 160 pound carbon fibre keyboard plus now you have to pay an annual subscription to use Word really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This is one of the wealthiest companies on earth & I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.

Simply the best tablet
There's no doubt that this is the best tablet money can buy. The problem being you'll need a lot of money. For the price Microsoft should include the type cover and slim pen also, that would make the price more acceptable.I've had Surface Pros 3, 4 and 7. This one is faster and works well with Windows 11. It replaced a Surface Pro 4 which developed a swollen battery.Tip: Buy these from Amazon because Amazon will replace a faulty device but Microsoft won't.How could it be improved? Put back the micro memory card slot so you can add extra storage.

Fantastic product
Really impressed. I've long been a fan of the Surface Pro range, but could never justify the high cost. However my Surface Go doesn't support Windows 11, so I decided to sell it and put the money towards a Pro. I opted for the cheapest £999 model (£899 at the time of purchase in the Black Friday sale), which stretched my budget to the max - the higher end models are eye wateringly expensive, hence marking it down on value for money, although the build quality is very good. You get what you pay for I guess. The screen size and resolution are great, and with the reduced bezel size it looks fantastic. The downside to this though is that it is really heavy, made worse by the lack of anywhere to grip without touching the screen - my Surface Go had thumb sized bezels, so it looked a little dated, but it was much easier to hold. I'm sure its something I will get used to - I find it is much better if I change how I hold it, and cradle it in by left arm rather than holding it with just my fingers, I can use it in tablet mode much more comfortably. In laptop mode it is much more able to replace a laptop than my Go was due to the much larger screen and keyboard. The performance (so far) is flawless. I haven't tried playing games or editing video, or anything else particularly heavy duty, but with day to day tasks it doesn't miss a beat.Overall, very very happy with it.

A good computer
The first Surface Pro sent developed a display fault after a few hours of running (an area of bright green pixels). I wouldn't mark it down because of that though. It's the sort of thing that can happen and I wouldn't think it more than a one-off problem. We spoke to a helpful Amazon representative and the computer was quickly replaced with another of the the same type. This one has been fine. Thanks for the good service.

Slick and impressive tablet/laptop
This fully met my expectations. A nice bright high resolution screen, and with a fast processor. The Windows 11 operating system works well. I'm very pleased with the package.
