Equity 25655 Small Silver Metal Alarm Clock

We needed a nice looking, inexpensive clock to keep in the bathroom. This little clock looks nice. It is a chrome, metal clock, but note that the metal is thin and very light weight. Also, the metal is only the face and sides that are visible. The back of the clock is all black plastic. The clock looks nice on the shelf, but if you look at the back or pick it up, you can tell that it is a very inexpensive clock, but that is fine given what we wanted it for. So far, it keeps time accurately. It is easy to set. We haven't (and probably never will) used the alarm. We were suprised to discover that it has a light, activated by pushing the button on the top. This is clearly not a high end timepiece, but it does look nice and function well, and it is a good value for the price. If you have the correct expectations, this is a very good deal.

The minute I opened the package I knew that this little alarm clock was of a higher quality than similarly priced ones. It's very attractive with a nickle case, and it keeps very accurate time. The backlight is better than most others, and the real plus is that the alarm increases the longer it rings until it's a loud constant alarm. Another high point is that it has a snooze button (the same as the backlight button), conveniently placed right on the top of the clock, that goes off with increasing loudness every 4 minutes. The 3" diameter size is perfect for a smaller night table or space. I have no idea why the product description says it is a wall mount clock because it is not.

I had one of these clocks that stopped working after a few months. The second hand stopped sweeping unless you laid it down on its back so then the time would not advance either. I wrote it off as being damaged during some recent construction and ordered the same one again because it's very cute. Within 4 hours the second hand on the new one also stopped sweeping unless you lay it down on its back. Then it starts up again but once you stand it upright (which is its normal position!) it gets stuck again and stops keeping time. 1 star only because it looks nice.

Beautiful little clock for my bathroom!

Stopped working after 3 months. Disappointing!

This clock is literally exactly what I wanted - the alarm works and it's not too loud (or alarming) so I wake up gently, it keeps time well, however it's very flimsy. I accidently knocked it over one night and the battery door broke off and the time stopped running smoothly and now sometimes glitches. I think for the price it should be a little more sturdy (and heavy).I would definitely not recommend traveling with this, I don't think it could handle it.

For a small space and clear dial. Great in my dressing table with so many things.

The features I like about this charming little clock are its soft ticking (not the rapid, jarring tick of a wind-up clock), and the alarm. the sound is a reasonably quiet beep, not a blast of sound that would terrify to wake the whole house. I want a notification, not a loud alarm sound, so this suits me, but may not suit a heavy sleeper.I bought this clock for the ticking sound. I had such a hard time finding a new alarm clock that does tick! This is a soothing sound, not at all loud, as another reviewer says.The clock is simple to set, and a compact size.The downside is that it is cheaply made, and may need replacing sooner than I'd like. I'd pay more for a sturdy clock, Equity! Hope they read these reviews.Edited: still works after two years!
