Q: Will it work with 12 gram co2

Yes. Just drop 5 nickels into the tube before dropping the 12 gram co2 cartridge in. This works perfectly with the Crosman unthreaded 12 gram cartridges.

Q: Can you push the lever and have air come out even if it is NOT attached to the tire stem?

Yes. I advise doing this after use until all CO2 is exhausted before removing the cylinder. A related observation is that this device does not have a pin which opens the Schrader valve on the valve stem. It relies on there being higher pressure in the CO2 cylinder than the tire to effect inflation.

Q: Does this work with threaded And non threaded cartridges?

Unthreaded 16g and even 12g cartridges can work if you provide the necessary insert in the base to raise the cartridge to roughly the same height as the 20g cartridge with the caveat that the neck stem must also be 8.25mm or thinner to be safe or else it will run into the screw threads in the cap and likely damage them.

Q: Are these well made? Do they hold up well?

In my opinion they are well made. I've only used mine a handful of times, but everything has worked well and I've had no issues. Nothing seems to be falling apart. So far, so good. It sure beats hand pumping a tire! I hope this was helpful.

So far so good. Versatile.

Seems to work well so far. Only used it once as I just got it. If it bteaks I'll uodate my review. If anyone wants to know, 12 gram unthreaded Co2 cartridges work with this. I just put 8 or so nickels in the bottom as a spacer and ut worked fine.
