Fits 2016 Subaru Crosstrek perfectly
Easy fit and install on a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek limited. But don’t forget the gasket maker material that should be applied to the top threads of this PCV before installing it.

Genuine Subaru Replacement - It DOES fit the Forester!
This is a critical maintenance on Subarus – actually on all cars but the Subarus seem to need more attention in this area. Perhaps the location of the valve has something to do with it. Failure to maintain these PCV valves will result in oil consumption or leakage. This is a direct replacement and takes just a few minutes to install as it is located right on the top of the engine underneath the intake manifold. As you can see in the photos, the hose from the intake manifold goes straight down to the PCV valve. Simply slide the clamp back on the hose (long needle-nosed pliers work well); remove the hose from the valve; replace the valve and then re-install the hose and clamp. Easy as can be.One note – the Amazon “parts fitting confirmation” program listed this as NOT fitting the 2015 Forester so I went directly to Subaru parts web site and checked the number, and Subaru does list this for that vehicle so I went ahead and ordered it. I believe that there was a part number change so that is probably why the Amazon listing was off. As a retired ASE certified mechanic, I can tell you that it (numbers changing) happens all of the time so I always check the vehicle manufacturers’ sites to confirm numbers. You should too!

Solid part
Part installed fine on my Forester. The old one was filled with oil and the old rubber was very hard to remove, even with two guys trying to pull it off. You might want to find the rubber part to replace and just cut it off to save yourself the trouble.

Perfect fit for our 2013 Outback
Replaced the old valve that was starting to clog. A clogged PCV can result in expensive repairs to gaskets and seals. Took about five minutes. I recommend replacing the hose at the same time because they can become hard and brittle.
