I’m so surprised at how fast things dry on this. Nice size, sits next to sink without taking to much counter space. It’s a little fidgety to get put together but worth it. Much sturdier than I thought it was gonna be.

I purchased this as a gift because I have one that was made in Canada. This is from China and the dowels are not wired together, there is no pre-drilled hole to screw in the metal ring to hang it, and you would never be able to hang it up because the center dowel just comes right out. This is the absolute worst product that I have ever seen! The wood is decent, but there is no way to assemble it to allow it to function the way that it should.

We got assembly tips from other reviewers. There are no instructions that come with it. The short stick is the middle stick. We drilled a pilot hole in the top end to make it easier to screw in the eye screw. It goes in the middle hole first. We then screwed to base plate & holder cup together using the provided screw. There is already a pilot hole on the bottom of the cup. While holding it together, put in the other sticks one at a time. Lower the guide until everything tightens. It will hold everything in place. It’s supposed to come apart so you can clean or store it.

I like the fact that washing and reusing zip lock bags is better than throwing individual bags in the trash.It is a way to slow down plastic going into the land fill. Anything we can reuse or recycle is worth a minute or two our of our day.. Lets all work harder to use creative ways to avoid plastic in landfills.

Once I got it together I love it. However, the screw it came with stripped immediately which was frustrating. Also, one of the sticks is an inch or so shorter than the rest and shouldn't be. It takes a lot of finesse to fit them in the small cup at the bottom and wiggle the disk down. I ended up pulling two out and inserting them once the disk was in place. That worked much better than trying them all at once. Quite a snug fit. It's exactly what I was looking for and am pleased with it, other than the few minor issues.

Does what it needs to do

When we tightened the screw to put it together the base piece split. (And, no, we didn’t over-tighten it.)We’re gluing it back together to see if we can salvage.
