Ugh...Absolutely not at all what was expected. A few things to know about this costume:1) As other reviewers have noted, the 'belly' is little more than an inflatable beach ball with straps... something you could easily procure for yourself cheaper anywhere else. It's only marginally shaped with one side slightly flatter, but it doesn't create the illusion. Oh, and that navel in the picture? Doesn't exist, make your own.2) The garment resembles a long skirt in design, in that it's completely open at the bottom. No leg holes or even a strap to go under. Just hangs open.3) The fabric itself is thin and cheap and will not hold tight to your body at all. And while I didn't expect that (it's not advertised as a stretchy material), I wasn't expecting it to be so loose.Wish I hadn't spent the money. You could create your own pregnancy costume purchasing separate items from a store that would be more realistic than this.

I wouldn’t suggest buying this. If you are a man, go for it! If not it gives women saggy boobs that completely looked stuff.

I expected this to be cheap, because well, it is cheap. However, the plastic inflatible belly straps broke the first time I put it on and the suit was basically worthless. I just stuffed the beach ball thing up my tight tank and went with that. So, basically, you could buy this or you could buy a beachball or pillow and use that for the same effect. It got a lot of laughs, but again, that was the ensemble, not necessarily attributed to any particular thing about this.

The belly is a blow up pouch. So it really needs to be blown up all the way which is huge! I got the costume to fool my cousins but didn't want to be 9 months along. It is still a good costume.
