living in nyc is hectic. i look forward to coming home and sitting by the “fire”.Smaller than i thought it would be, but for sure bigger than a candle. Clean burning. Creates fantastic ambiance. i’m a fan.

The BYTHAVNY TABLETOP FIRE PIT is Ethanol Fueled and fuel is not included with the unit. The fireplace includes the metal frame in which the Base holder fits. Fitting into the base trey is combustion chamber ( manufacturer uses term notch ) and the wick. The wick is about 3-1/2 inches long. On the front and back of the Fire Pit are glass panels which sit 3 inches high above metal base and about 7 inches long.It is not big nor is the flame very big. There is NO WICK CONTROL except pulling up or pushing down prior to use. The “ look “ of the flame is dependent on type of fuel used. Three ⭐️⭐️⭐️ StarThank you for looking at my review. The glass leans a bit making a very flimsy. The flames blew quite a bit even though the wind wasn't very high. And there was an odor that smelled like something was burning or melting so i tossed it out.

This is a nice little fire display. The flame is all about the fuel so be sure that you get something that burns clean and has no odor. I use Bioethanol.The fire looks about the same no matter how you adjust the wick and I expect the wick to last at least as long as this lamp. The fuel burns--not the wick.This is a tiny fire display though. It's perfect for a small table top between couples or on a small patio table. The glass sides allow this to be used outdoors and in rooms with fans.This is a very nice way to create romance and is certainly a level up.

I like this quite a bit, though I will say a few things are challenging:1) Fuel. Oddly, finding fuel for this is a bit difficult. When I can find it (online....) the price seems a bit high.2) Lighting. Lighting it is a bit of a pain. Instructions say to use the damper (which is a pain) but I just decided to use a long candle-lighter. Still a bit pain-worthy though.This all said, when it's up, it looks great. I like the way it looks quite a bit, and it does have a bit of a mellow feel to it. So even though I can't easily find fuel for it, and lighting it is a bit of a challenge, in the end...it's worth it to me. I like it.

this is beautiful for indoors or outdoors and it adds such a lovely touch of elegance to any tablescape. it give mini bon fire vibes and we love to use it during movie nights or even when we are just hanging in the backyard on a cold december night. its so easy to use and looks a lot more expensive than it was. even took one of these to a secret santa gift exchange and people went nuts for it! all you need is alcohol to keep it going.

this is much smaller than I thought it would be. It is still quite nice and I like the look of it. I have a large fire pit that will be on the patio that pairs with this one great. I can use this one in the house too, it is just the right size.
