They work as described

I bought my Easy Living home in 2012. It was built to be super economical and energy efficient. The lighting in the kitchen and hallways uses these bulbs. They definitely last a long time, but they are very difficult to replace. The first time I tried I ran in trouble with the color. The originals were bright white and the ones I purchased at Lowes were more yellow in appearance. Lowes didn’t have the yellow ones so I had to replace ALL eight ($10 each) of the ones in the kitchen so they would match. More recently I ordered replacements on Amazon and they turned out to be the yellow ones. In addition to the color matching problem, they are incredibly easy to accidentally break when you’re attempting to pull them out of the socket. They don’t unscrew so you have to pull them out. I end up partially dismantling the fixture and use a screw driver (carefully and with the power off) to get it loose enough to remove. They go in easy enough, but I broke two of the new ones when I had to remove them due to the color problem. I see that they now make these type of bulbs that screw in and out, but I’d have to change all the fixtures too which would be expensive. All the newer homes in this area now have halogen lighting.

Cheaper than HD's version. Be sure to check the number or else your lights will not match up. I will have to return one bulb because it was broken during shipping....but other than that they work well so far. Should last a few years. If not, I will dock it a few stars...

Perfect. Great quality and these are very hard to find. When I did find them they were about $2.00 more per item so I bought 8 of these and saved about $16.00. Since I have Amazon Prime I had them in less than 48 hours and no shipping expense.

Works as one would expect. Old light fixture requires these configuration bulbs.

I have purchased a ton of these from Amazon since I could not find them anywhere else and I have them all over my house. They last about 4-1/2 years with daily usage. I have a few outside my house that are still working after over 5 years. My main problem is that they are hard to get out of the socket without breaking the tubes. It took a few broken bulbs before I got the hang of pulling out the dead ones. But they go in fairly easily and lights the room well.

the bulb is great works for a very long time. I had the originals for 6 years before having the purchase this one. I am hoping for another long life of bulbs.
