Not my first set for these clippers, but for the price. They work amazing. Battery lasts forever. Not having a chord attached makes it much easier to use.About 4 years of use cutting my own hair and beard. Along with cutting two dogs hair before they started to dull. It was cheaper to buy a new set, but worth it.

Over the past two years, I've been cutting my own hair with scissors! Though it has come out all right, over time I wasn't completely satisfied. So I thought I'd try an electric hair clipper. I watched several hair clipper videos and figured, at least if I did an awful job, my hair would grow back. However I was pleasantly surprised. Starting with the 1 inch clipper guide I cut over my whole head. Then attaching the ¾ guide I cut up from the back and sides stopping at the crown of my head. Finally attaching the ½ inch guide I finished off on the sides and back. Though my haircut may not be perfect, it looks great! This set includes a solid and sturdy electric clipper which may be used corded or cordless, the length attachments and other useful items for a person doing their own barbering. I was quite impressed with the product!

The rechargeable battery holds a charge for months. My previous clippers would lose its charge after a few days to a week. Durability is yet to be determined. My previous clippers have a plastic body. These clippers have a metal body. Dropping my previous clippers one too many times is why I needed to buy these clippers. I haven't dropped these clippers yet. The cut is the main reason for buying any pair of clippers. These clippers don't provide the best cut. The blades aren't as sharp as my previous clippers and don't adjust for the short cut length I like. I keep a military haircut, almost a high and tight, so I don't use any of the length adjustment guards. After trying different combinations, with the blades, switching the outer/top blade with the same from my previous clippers has made these clippers perfect. The swap has made the clippers sharper. The blades are now able to be adjusted (~1/16") for a close, but not bald shave on my sides and back, then adjust to 0" to shape my top. I was settling for an ok cut, until I got the idea to try swapping blades.

Been a barber for 35yrs. Works great! I've had it for a month now. Haven't had to charge yet.. and it still has 60% battery life.
