I used to have one of those cheap measuring tapes, and I received it as a free gift/add-on for some purchase I made several years ago. That measuring tape was started to have difficulty retracting, the tape got wavy, and finally the pull tab was starting to tear off.Decided to replace that old measuring tape and wanted to invest into a premium tape and that's where I found this tape. I like the overall build of this Perfect Measuring Tape. The case and retract mechanism feels sturdy. The tape itself is wide, has clear, easy-to-read markings, and feels high quality.

This is absolutely great with the fractions on it. An additional plus for me! Very easy to read and use.

Okay, it is not cheap, but is a very nice tape measure. The case is about 6cm across and 1.8cm high and the tape is 1.4cm wide in case you need that info. The tape itself is really flexible and feels nicer than a regular old brand name loose tape and has incremental labels the length of the tape on the English side- nice! The retract button feels ever so slightly delicate in the pushing, so I hope that the innards will hold up to many years of service since it is a very good tape measure. I would love to have longer than 80" options!

Great function. Easy to read. The only drawback is it broke after 6 mos. In the companys defense, I do use it several times each day (I measure babies). It was so great that I'm buying another one just like it.

This is a compact tape measure. It has both metric and imperial measurements. When you pull it out the click stop works and it retracts quickly. This is all the tape measure most people will need unless you suddenly want to measure more than 80 inches/200cm. As a tailor's tape measure this does the job very well.

Bought this to replace one that I've had for years that I thought I lost. Found it, but prefer this Perfect Measuring Tape much more! I love the additional numbered fraction markers, no more counting lines, easy to read at a glance. No issues with retracting, easy to pull out, locks in place. Glad I purchased this one, well worth it.

I haven't had the tape long enough to speak to its durability over time, but I do carry it in my pocket daily, and it's holding up well. The tape stays put when you pull it out, the retractability is handy, and it's suitability accurate.
