Great Product and valuable to sensitive tummies!I'm a veterinary student with a 1 year old Doberman Pincher. He has a very sensitive stomach and can easily have an episode of diarrhea that will last several days and is hard to get back on track. I've head about Lactoquil at conferences and the benefit of probiotics and wanted to give it a try. I can definitely see the positive effect this has had on my dog. Since starting he's been regular and happy and hasn't had any GI issues since being on this. The taste seems to be great since he considers it a treat. I like to give it in the evening because in my mind it has time to work in his system while he's resting but I don't think it matters. I will definitely keep him on this supplement to keep his GI happy. I feed him Purina Proplan for large breeds and he is on intestinal and heartworm preventative monthly.

The veterinarian prescribed Bayer Animal Health Lactiquil for my dog when she discovered my dog had a serious anal gland infection. Of course she also prescribed an antibiotic for two weeks. Then another two weeks. Lactoquil has really been good for Abby's digestion. No regurgitating so far. Gives her fiber that's good for her anal glands. She takes it readily. She doesn't take everything like that. I had to buy a pkg. of hot dogs to give her the antibiotic. Pill pockets and cheese don't always work. Abby gets one Lactoquil a day. A package of 75 chews is reasonably priced too.

It appears to have worked effectively and improved their bowel movements. We have tried various probiotics, but this particular one seems to have done the job!

Love the product it has helped my little dog’s digestion. Would refer it to anyone with a dog. Good price and great product.

I originally got these from my vet to combat upset stomach from anabiotic’s. She had always suffered from an acid tummy so I would give her omrazapole. Theses chews eliminated her tummy problems and are much less expensive than the vet!!!!!

I have two dogs. One occasionally gets paint-peeling gas and soft stools for no apparent reason -- just maybe two days every week or two. The other doesn't normally have issues. Dog no. 2 got diarrhea for a week and none of the usual home remedies (pumpkin, boiled chicken, etc.) fixed it. So off we went to the vet, who recommended Lactoquil. I was skeptical, but she said try it for three days and if it doesn't work, I'll prescribe Flagyl next. So I tried it and her diarrhea was completely gone in 48 hours! So I decided to try it on my other dog, to see if it would fix/prevent his problem with recurring gas and soft stools. It is amazing, ever since he has been on this product he has had NO gas and NO soft stools. I had just about given up on him and figured he would just be that way forever and I would have to live with it. I have tried other probiotics and they did not help. I started him on these every day for three weeks, then cut back to every other day. This regimen seems to be exactly what he needs.

Half a tab every other day for our small Aussiedoodle worked great.
