2005 Mercedes S500 W220 - works fine.
Used to bypass defective CD changer and NAV unit on a 2005 Mercedes-Benz S500 W220 and get the fiber optic MOST network back online to stop battery drain. These fit plug and play with zero modification the Mercedes fiber optic connectors on the factory amp, cd changer, and nav unit. The optic cable to the audio gateway is more proprietary as itβs in the same connector as the standard wires. If you pop the fiber optic portion out, it will loosely plug into the female adapter in this kit to bypass. The male connections as others have mentioned are 100% useless.
