I’ve wanted a weighted blanket for a long time but am particular about needing to wash anything that goes in my bed. My washing machine is too small to handle most blankets I’ve looked at, and they’re too pricey to just buy on a whim. Decided instead to give this a go to see if weighted items are even worth the hype. It’s even better than what I thought it could be!I actually haven’t used this over my shoulders as designed. Instead I drape it over myself in bed. Either over my side when laying on my side, or draped across my back while laying on my stomach.I have issues with my back and ribs, and this helps a lot. And it feels like the arm of someone cuddling, which was a big thing I was looking for in these isolated quarantine times.The best part for me though was experiencing what deep pressure is really all about, which surpasses what I was expecting. When it’s draped across my back, it creates some of the same sensations as gentle massage. I haven’t had a massage in months, so this is welcome.I knew deep pressure played a part in massage but I don’t think I realized exactly which massage sensations were directly attributed to just the pressure itself and not necessary the action of rubbing and kneading. Turns out, the pressure on its own is a major player.With this draped across my back, I get the same melty sensation as massage. It really helps my tense body to relax and drift off to sleep.I haven’t used the eye thing yet because I mostly don’t sleep on my back. But next time I have a headache I’ll give it a try. I massage my eyes a lot when I get migraines, and if the mask has the same effect on my eyes as the main product has on my back, I suspect it’ll be beneficial.———-UPDATE 3 months later:I continue to use this often. It helps a lot with rib pain by draping this over the painful area while laying down. I’ve also found it useful for draping across my scalp and brow when I’ve got a barometric pressure headache. I like laying on my stomach and draping this over different areas of my back to get a massage feeling. Funnily I’ve never actually tried it for its intended use over the shoulders, but I’m really happy with it for the uses I have for it.

I sleep with a weighted blanket and wanted to see if a shoulder wrap would help me as I spend long days at the computer while working from home. It does.For anyone with sensory issues, you know tne challenge with a purchase such as this is the personal preference of weight. There's no way of knowing until you try it if it is too heavy or too light. This one happened to be just right although after a couple hours it can feel a touch heavy (and my concern was that it would be too light.)That said I greatly dislike the eye mask. The elastic was too snug and the eye pillow bulged awkwardly, putting pressure on my eyeballs which is a different feeling from general comforting weight. I didn't dock the review though because I just ordered this for the wrap.

I can't remember when I found out about weighted blankets, but when I did, everything I read about them made me think I needed one. I posted a question on Facebook asking if any of my friends had tried them. A friend let me try hers, and I immediately ordered one. It's big and heavy, and although I can wrap it around my shoulders, it isn't very practical unless I'm just sitting still.Back when I bought it, I instantly knew I needed a smaller version to wear on my shoulders. I searched and didn't find an option, but two weeks ago, I tried again, and I found this option. I ordered it. I LOVE it, and because it's portable, I've been able to let friends try it and they all say it feels comforting like a hug.My only complaint is I needed it to be heavier, but no worries! I ordered a second one and sometime I use both. Sometimes I just use one.I love this product!

I got this for myself, but my husband likes to use it over his chest while leaning back on the couch. I think it's even helped him calm down after taking to stupid people at work. Well, somewhat.It's like having a cat to lay on your chest without needing to clean a litter box or having bum in your face. Although, it's missing the purrs.

It was soft and comfy, but that’s about it. It definitely wasn’t anywhere near heavy enough to relief pain or for “grounding” purposes for treating sensory overload/hypersensitivity... seriously, you can barely feel it. I’m 5’1 and considered small in stature. I’m not super strong or anything, and I still felt like it was far too light in weight. I would need something at least 5 pounds or more....

I used this for a few days without doing anything to it and it was nice. Today I thought I’d see what it’s like to warm it up. I laid a towel down on my microwave plate and set the shoulder blanket on it. I thought I’d start low and just did 90 seconds. I start to smell burning like 60 seconds in and I look at the blanket caused burn marks on it and the towel?! I thought the entire thing would be super hot, but it was hardly warm to the touch?! I’m confused if the material is bad, or if the glass beads in one spot got too hot?! Regardless, it is clearly not safe to microwave as it saves in the description.

I’m glad I made this purchase. This is perfect for anyone that suffers anxiety. It’s very relaxing to sit at my desk I have this draped over my shoulder. It calms my anxiety and helps with another disability that I have. I also love the weighted mask. Not only does it make the room dark when I sleep, It stays in place.

Disappointed. Advertised to relieve sore and tired neck and shoulders, relieve pressure, ans help with balance. It did none of this. Also, the material looks cheap and poorly made, and it arrived dirty with lots of synthetic hairs (polyester?) all over. I had to remove the the hairs painstakingly before trial use. In any case, a minute later, I immediately filed for a return.
