I purchased it because it was recommended by my doctor after the full laser resurfacing. It’s a nice very gentle cleanser that does not irritate your skin but still clean it good. You will not have that squeaky clean feeling but you’ll get a soft skin without over drying it

I had this product recommend by an easthatician. I have been using it for 3+ months twice a day. My face is clear, smooth, and soft. ( I use this brands exfoliate too) After 1 use my face felt much softer. After 3 months my pores even apear a little smaller.

It dried out my skin too much.

This seems to be a very gentle face wash, very subtle scent. Feels great, leaves my face feeling very clean and refreshed. Definitely recommend!

I have sensitive skin. There’s no bigger green flag for me than when I run something through my ingredient checker and I don’t see any red text. This one easily passes and has a lot of great ingredients. This includes light cleansers and a lot of soothing ingredients. There’s no extra fragrances and the scent is difficult for me to even detect. This seems to clean as much as I need, and leaves my skin feeling more moisturized than many or most cleansers.I would probably use something a little stronger with much makeup, but I’ve used this with some light powder and it seemed to do fine. My skin hasn’t worsened since I began using it, and it seems maybe a little less dry. It doesn’t foam up like some other cleansers, it really is more of a cream. The pump makes it easy to use with wet hands. I didn’t get a photo of the actual cleanser, since my hands were wet, but it looks like it does on the product page. I like it and will continue using it.

I've been using the same cleanser for over twenty years. I've always tried to find a drugstore cleanser since the cleanser I use is from a doctor's office and is expensive. Most of the cleansers would not do a good job or cause my acne to flare up. This cleanser from Alastin does none of those things while gently cleaning my skin and removing the redness. It's a great cleanser and I would highly recommend it but I do wish it was more affordable.

This is a cream cleanser so it does not foam. Due to the consistency it is ideal if you are trying not to disrupt your skin barrier. It is gentle and non stripping. I can confirm it is fragrance free. My face feels clean and calm after washing with this. I have oily skin and it washes the oil off no problem. I don’t wear a lot of makeup so I can’t speak to its ability to remove heavy makeup. If you do wear a full face of makeup you might want to use this as a second step in your double cleanings.
