Pathetic not good at all
The female lead had no backbone and it's really frustrating to read and story is not interesting or make you curious total waste of time

Slow start but engrossing mystery and drama
This book started off a bit on the slower side, we were getting to know the characters and the settings. But after a certain event the book really started to pick up the pace and it continued right until the very end. The mystery and drama in this book just have me needing more.I really liked the FMC, she was sweet, quirky and very curious. I could definitely see myself wanting to be friends with her. As for the men, there was some hot and cold, some steam and a lot of drama. The last little bit at the end got me so excited for a possible revenge plot as well as solving the big mystery of what’s been happening.Mystery after a mystery, question after question just when you thought that we might finally be going somewhere with what is going on, something else came up or tried to put a stop to the information we were starting to gather. I’m very happy we don’t have to wait long for the next book because I think it’s going to be even better than this one.4.5/5 because it did take me a little bit to get into but I really did enjoy the story.

This is what I want in my life.
Yes! It’s my first book from the author and I‘m already reading my third. And I will definitely read more. Despite me hating the Main Characters up to a point that it’s almost possessive, I love the stories so much! The love interests are amazing. The spicy scenes just perfect!! The mystery!! No words! This is definitely the kind of book I want to read over and over again! <3

Can’t Wait For The Next Book!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ReviewIf you enjoy academia books, Greek history, mystery, adventure and secret societies then this book is a must read. From assisting her Best Friend with her Criminal Empire to being a Student at a Posh British Catholic University George has literally gotten herself into a heap of trouble. As a PodCaster who enjoys solving difficult mysteries she finds herself tangled in a web of mystery and secret societies. Putting her nose where it shouldn’t be she has become the target of bullying and cruel treatment from the Orpheans especially one by the name of Monty. She finds friendship and attraction to two very unattainable men, the young handsome Father Sebastian who she finds safety and friendship with. Then there’s William who is also a member of The Orpheus Society but finds ways to help her, keep her safe and warn her away from trouble when he is able but also keeps his distance so his secrets stay hidden. This ends on a huge cliffhanger but thankfully book two is out soon and will be able to find out what happens in George’s story next!!

Four stars
Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .
