My review of Collecta's model of "Megalosaurus"
Megalosaurus was the very 1st dinosaur ever to be discovered and scientifically described, so it goes without saying that this saurian celebrity definabsotively deserves to be immortalized in plastic, right and proper - and now I can finally, Finally, FINALLY say that I have a model of it in my collection!!!!! The only downside is that since a full-grown adult Megalosaurus was 30 feet long, a 1/40th scale model of it should be 9 inches long...unfortunately, Collecta's model of it is a couple of inches short! Hopefully, we won't have to wait very long for it to be upgraded to a more accurately proportionate size (preferably with its back horizontal and level to the ground, and its head and tail counterbalancing each other as it stalks unwary prey).

Great Detail
Small toy but it balances really neat. It has a lift on the feet so it kind of rocks back and forth a little making it seem like its really coming at you. My nephew loved it.

Megalosaurus, well there are two models of this make by two company's and this made by collecta is in my opinion the worse it's posed like a Kangaroo! The better one is made by The Natural History Museum and in my opinion the better of the two models I hope this is of help
