was sceptical with the limited number of reviews and the low star rating - however pleasantly surprised! item came in a tin box with sponge packaging. The set comes with two screw drivers (one for the case and one for the strap), spare screws and two straps. Fitting was a doddle and the key looks amazing encased in the holder. Yes it adds quite a bit of bulk to the key, but for me this just made the key feel like it should, more like my bigger bmw keys, but with a classier feel.

Let me start by saying that if it wasn't for the key signal issues, I would have given this five stars!It is a nice design and looks quite classy when the key is installed in it, the materials and fit are pretty good, especially considering the price. It also comes in a nice tin box which includes assembly screws and a small screwdriver (this is a 'clamshell' type design in two parts).I would have really liked to be able to use this item, as offers great protection for the key unit itself, looks good and has a rather satisfying weight to it - BUT unfortunately once the key was installed the case/cover appears to interfere with the key signal.Remote unlocking became VERY intermittant and then once I was able to get in the car, on pressing the ignition (start/stop) button a message came up on the dash to say 'key not recognised' (this is a late 2019 Q7 with the digital dash).As a result I was unable to start the car at all, worse still even once the case was disassembled I then had to put the key into the front cupholder (where the 'emergency' sensor is) to 're-pair' it with the car and make it functional again.I did replace the batteries and tried both of my keys, which otherwise were working fine, but unfortunately just could not get the key to function when it was installed in the case.A real shame, as otherwise, as I mentioned above, this was quite a nice item and exactly what I was looking for. So in closing, I would say its worth trying, but be prepared that you may get these signal issues and have the screwdriver handy!

It's a bit in the heavy side and made the key much larger too but it looks really nice and I'm sure it'll protect the key very well
