KEENNewport Retro-w womens Sandal

As per some of the reviews I went up 1/2 size to accommodate the “age spread” of my feet. I have a standard width foot, so for a wide foot you might consider going up a full size. Wore them new for a 4.4 km walk and they were very comfortable. On a crushed stone path they did not kick up any stones inside the sandal. And the bright colours make me smile; I call them my “happy sandals”!

These are not knockoffs. I can wear these without a break in period. Great all terrain or just kicking it sandal.

Very sturdily made but severe design flaw. The heel strapping has absolutely no stretch whatsoever. Sent mine back, but a person needs to try at least 2 sizes bigger...too bad ideally liked them.

I LOVE these shoes! They are great hikers with airflow, water shoes and sandals! They are my absolute favorite shoes!The only issue I ran into is that I have very high arches and it is a little difficult to get my foot into the sandal, but after it is in the sandal, the fit is very comfortable. Next pair I will size up a half size. That is my issue, though.Love these shoes.

This is my second pair of Keen’s Newport water shoes. They last over many years and foot bed and sole do not show any wearing. This is important to me since I have plantar fasciitis. They also give me excellent ankle support. Lasting support is very important to me. I use mine for kayaking and for water walking/jogging in a pool. Just rinse off the chlorine. Thanks to another review I read I now know the Newport is wider in the toe area and has more protection. I have a pair of Whisper which the review said were narrower. Whisper is great for everyday wear and look dresser. But not as comfortable for water activities. I am in my senior years now and appreciate the good support of these sandals.
