Tombow51528 Irojiten Colored Pencil Set, Vivid. Includes 12 Premium Colored Pencils, Sharpener, and Colored Pencil Eraser

AT FIRST I DID NOT LIKE THESE PENCILS BECAUSE THEY WERE HARDER LEADED THAN I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE BUT AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AT USING THEM I GREW TO LIKE THEM. NOT ENOUGH TO BUY A FULL SET BECAUSE THEY ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE BUT THIS SET WAS REASONABLY PRICED. THE COLOR LAYS DOWN GOOD ONCE YOU GET USED TO THEM. ALL IN ALL I AM HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE ALTHOUGH I DON'T THINK I WILL BE BUYING ANYMORE.

There is a BIG problem with this set of pencils. Each pencil is wrapped separately with a UPC label that I had to dissolve.The pencils come unsharpened and no pencil sharpener will work with UPC labels wrapped near the head of the pencil. They sharpened crooked, and busted and didn't sharpen at all. Who decided to do this? I was ticked and was going to return them. My husband rescued me. He pulled each one off and used a solvent to get off the sticky glue. Once the pencils were cleaned up they are excellent. So be aware there is a lot of work before you will be able to color anything.

I bought these colored pencils because I thought they were erasable… especially because it came with an eraser, but it doesn’t erase well. It still leaves the color behind.

Liked all of the colors, and arrived safely with no problems.

I have mixed feelings about these colored pencils. Although they have great pigmentation, they are very hard. I don’t recommend them if you have hand problems.

These are fairly average pencils, they don’t rub out fully.I live in the U.K. and was not very happy to receive an extra charge from Fedex for importing these. Had I known I would not have bought them! They worked out very expensive 😢

A nice small set of more pale colors for coloring projects. They definitely have their place in coloring projects.

Love the color selection! The texture of these pencils is nice and smooth!

They are nice pencils, quite hard so it's good for adding detail work as well as light sketching if you dont mind the drag. They are also waterproof as I have used them underneath watercolors and ink a few times. My only issue is the texture of the lead is almost scratchy in some pencils, it can be a bit inconsistent. I also found an issue when sharpening them the lead seemed broken from the inside so I lost alot of pencil that way.( the crimson pencil was the worst)Some shades erase better than others ( I uploaded swatches of the erasing) wouldn't reccomend to use on very soft paper as it tends to kind of cut Into the paper from the hardness, also in order to erase mistakes you need to press REALLY hard with the already intense sand eraser. People were complaining about the barcode stickers on the pencils but I had no issue sharpening over the stickers and just leaving them on. Honesty for the price and because it is tombow I had very high expectations and felt a little let down because I'm used to smoother consistencies and easier erasability on color pencils . With that said, they are definitely a welcome addition and I love the color options and also appreciate how they dont budge under watercolor but still can erase.
